They say the first is always the hardest and with that in the bag and the money they have to push on who is going to stop them from dominating the premier league in the next few years?

I know the papers talk rubbish 90% of the time but the are already being linked with...

    Hazard
    Ibrahimovic
    Lavezzi
    Chiellini
    Llorente
    Falcao
    Van Persie

Obv. Man City are obviously not going to go and get all of these but I can see them getting 3 or 4 world class players this summer

How the hell is everyone else suppost to compete with them!!!!!

Must be great for the city fans, lets hope we get a sheikh owner in the next ten years! Some people hate what is happening at City but if it gets you trophies and world class players then who cares.

Agreed! Don't know how Mancini is going to fit them in!!

Aguero, Tevez and Silva are all world class IMO, maybe someone to come in a compete with Nasri on the left? Think Lavezzi would be class for them.

As you say defence I think if they got someone to partner Kompany say Hummels and a holding mid next to Yaya they would be unstoppable, surprised they aint made a move for M'Vila, he would be class! That lad is only going to get better.

Notice, not 1 english player in there as well, bar Hart there best 11 could well have 10 foreign players in it.

Basically if they sign Hazard I think they have next season's title already in the bag but they wont just sign him, can see one striker leaving out of Tevez/Balotelli/Dzeko and that Cavanni from Napoli coming in, scary the names they are linked with though.

Still think Man U will be strong next season, they always are and especially after what happed last weekend!

I aint sure with Man United, yes they will always be up there but I think they need 3 world class midfield players and a right back.

I can actually see Chelsea coming second next season. I am liking the route they are going down of young quality players. They have signed Ramires, Luiz and Mata in the past and think Marin will be a good signing for them, for me they lack a right back, defensive midfielder and someone to play on the right

They only beat the weakest Man Utd team of the last 20 years on gd. Yes they'll strengthen but so will United. I dont think Abramovich is going to sit back and watch City dominate either.

City made United better in the league this year by setting the bar. I expect united to make some shrewd signings in the summer and they'll be gunning from the off. In 20 years nobody has kept United from the title for too long

It's not just a team at United though, it's an institution.

The way players are integrated and 'raised' as United is what keeps them at the top year after year.

Player for player City should have blitzed United this year, in the end, it was United shipping 2 daft goals to Everton that cost them.

United will bring in some real class this summer, and they will remain the team to beat.

Personally I don't rate Dzeko that highly - certainly not for £27m - every time I've watched him he's struggled and seems to need 5 or 6 chances to hit the target when he has time (He's much better when the ball is there and he has to hit it or head it) - just don't rate him that highly - I wouldn't want him playing for us - if he's not getting his way then he's a lazy twat as well - likes a swan dive also!

How many teams have won the Premiership title ? it has been dominated by Man U most of the time so it will be for a few more years. Watch for unrest amongst City's players when they are not in the team

Once they get ****ers like Balotelli out of the club, start acting as more of a team, and get the Arengtina double working, they'll be unstoppable.

At their best they're probably the 3rd best team in the world.

We will stop them as you geordies saw last sunday when we could and should of won 8-0 we are outstanding just as we are.
When vidic, cleverley, fletcher and the rest of our injured troops come back we will dominate the premiership and europe again. We did very well in 2011-2012 to finih joint first with our reserve team, how many other clubs in the world would come so close with a second x1?
City are finished now and will win nowt for another 50 years, you may be able to buy the odd trophy but not a dynasty.

Come down from your throne pal.

Now they have won the title, I can see them dominating the league for a few years now. Giggs and Scholes won't go on forever and this will be their last season in my opinion. I also think Ferguson has no more than 2 or 3 years in him as well, maximum. I expect your big signing this summer to be Modric, I expect City to buy 3 or 4 players better than him.

I honestly believe Man Utd are going to be going through a change these coming years and may just drop off the pace. IMO

I've heard that Man United is getting one hell of a transfer kitty this summer. Maybe not as much as City, but enough to bring in a few world class players of their own and perhaps keep up the pace.

Plus, I think Sir Alex is the superior manager to be honest. Perhaps far superior. The Man Utd team this season has frankly been a bit shocking yet they kept right up with Man City's world class squad. If Sir Alex had the kind of quality in Man City's side I think he would have dominated the league with absolute ease.
