... so if this is true, does anyone believe that Craig Whyte is just going to hand over his majority shareholding in Rangers, to Green & Co, for £1 and take the hit of being sued by Ticketus for the £27m they handed over for future season ticket revenue - or is it more likely the case that some other deal is being struck? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-18119318
Ah, but surely they were never glorious for Timmy ... though, if harry's foretelling be correct, then this one could be so?
Shares only transfer if he get's a cva, which is 90% unlikely. In the event of liquidation he is first to get paid after the administrators so he'll probably get about 10m. Which he will give to ticketus.
It won't be as straight forward as kerrydale accountants make out, as politics is involved. HMRC might be using it as bargaining with the politicians to change the law so they get more power in cva's etc. Now it looks like ticketus will probably reject a cva as they would get more from craig whyte and liquidation than a cva, but we still don't know the terms of there deal with craig.
Can't see Ticketus just rolling over, not contesting the termination of their season ticket contract and reducing their options by simply being content to go after Craig Whyte personally for their £27m - thus taking the chance that they'd recover little or nothing. Liquidation would suit them better.
Espania, sorry to correct you as you have been a good friend in the past. The "glorious 12th" is the 12th of August the traditional start of the grouse shooting in Scotland. There never was anything glorious about the 12th of July, just an Orange day of hatred of all things to do with Catholics.
No problem sh - I stand corrected! (Though if Harry's forecast was to come true in July then this would be another 'glorious' date!)
Super if Rangers did die on July 12 th , I think the 12th of July and August would both be remembered as glorious . Even next Valentine day I will probably end up giving the wife a happy one year administration card !!!
Harry and Espania, let us hope we will be having an anniversary next year and subsequent years to celebrate the fall of the house of evil. I think Celtic fans should travel from near and far every anniversary to shop in the new Superstore built on the cheaters dome in Govan.
