Always liked the lad, my concern is that this is the 3rd season, might even be the 4th, in a row he has been released.

He spent 4 1/2 years at Stuttgard, then moved to Lazio in the Jan and signed a 6 month contract, he then signed for West ham for 3 years, but they went down, so they terminated his contract (may have been a relegation release clause or they just couldnt afford him not sure) then he went to wolfsburg on a 3 year contract, but he only had 6 games for them in a year, and they terminated his contract. Why for the last one I have no idea.

So it hasnt all been as bad as it would seem by the looks of things.

Why didn't Stuttgart or Lazio want to keep him? Or why did he not want to stay?

Not certain but for stuttgard he was the captain, manager got sacked, a new manager came him, stripped him of the captaincy straight way and he was in Lazio a month later.

Lazio for 6 months, havnt a clue, but maybe it was to do with the stuttgard mess, it only cost them €500,000 for the 6 month contract, maybe they just needed him for cover at the time, he only had 6 games for Lazio and 11 for West ham though, so he may be injury prone as well (but not sure on that).

I dont want him btw, just trying to explain how the **** went down and it may not be all down to him, or as bad as it sounds.
