Myself, I'm one of those anarchist types. But I'll have a crack at guessing what the political beliefs of you lot are...

First, LeedsInEssex, that's easy. True blue Tory, Daily Mail reading sort, but not in the overtly bad way.
Itsalittlelessfurtherback and lifecheshirewhite - see above.
Simon21-LUFC - compassionate socialist, maybe Green Party or left-wing Lib Dem?
Whitejock - unionist Scotsman from Glasgow or thereabouts - got to be old-school Labour, surely?
Bigfatboab - hmm, has mentioned Irish heritage before and seems a bit of a cock, so I'll say SNP.
666/Elmo - got some Spanish **** going on and comes from Harrogate, so I'll say a Euro-friendly liberal.
ristac - swing voter, voted for Blair in '97, but now a borderline Cameronite since he's seen the mess the economy's in.

And I'll go with the apolitical types being MarkoLUFC, YWBK, all the Millwall boys (not because they're disenfranchised, just because they don't have enough braincells to know what politics is), ellandback, OLOF, Bucks, Josh-LUFC and Logi. Sorry if I left anyone out or you're not English. But please do leave a comment anyway.

    Ooh-err missus.

Hmm, you're a tough one. I think you're from Leeds, which is a pretty socialist place generally, and you seem to be a man of the people, plus the Tory jibe below... so I'll hazard a guess at Labour?

I used to be Tory before I saw the light of true, non-government-interfered capitalism, so I doubt I'll be going back! <nahnah>

For me its definitely "non of the above".

I would like to see the establishment replaced by more local independents. In-order to avoid political parties been influenced by money.

Ps, Once a Tory and all that <whistle>

What sort of stuff would you ideally see in the local independents' manifestos?

Did you vote for them in the European elections too, or defect to UKIP like a lot of Tories tend to?

It would not matter to me overall, the fact that it would remove the whip would please me... Possibly I would like to see more regional investment & development throughout the country offered.

I have never objected to higher public spending in London, but I don't understand why Manchester has received such investment at the expense of other regions of late (presumably because it is a Labour heartland).

But you're such a good European citizen you didn't even know they had parliamentary elections? <laugh> <whistle>

I'd put you on the 'disenfranchised' list as well. Would I be right?

Nearly 100% right for me, I voted Blair first time around, second time UKIP - I would vote Tory if I believed in what they were doing but not while they are in bed with Clegg and not while I feel they are strangling the country, so a swing voter yes. I was massively wrong with Brown, I thought he was an excellent chancellor at the time and that he would make a good PM how wrong was I... I also thought the right Miliband was appointed opposition leader and again I am wrong, can see it should have been the other one now....

I'll have you know that us Spanish-types are all greasy, racist oiks that never use deodorant. You not seen how we treat the likes of Lewis Hamilton at the Grand Prix?

And all our women have moustaches!

I'm a staunch liberal Tory with extreme socialist tendencies and a penchant for the EDL <ok>

Jerel, I'm Tory but I'm not pro Europe (even though I'm half French). Glad we're not in the euro zone and kept some independence though.

Jerel Ifil - Respect Party activist, Galloway's right hand man in delivering the Bradford Spring.

WhiteJock - old school politics, take out the man not his policies. Extreme left wing, Socialist Party.

Ristac, Eire, Strachallister - whoever is in power gets their vote, always happy to stick up for the regime, no matter how bad it is.

Marko - fire in the belly trade unionist, Labour but has some reservations on certain policies

Old Peacock - Lib Dem - happy to be in power, slight reservations over whether he is doing the right thing, but will hang on in there for as long as possible

EllandHeaven - Father of the House, looks down and ponders, rarely gets het up at his age and experience

AKCJ - Independent who got his seat on the back of the expenses scandal but is about to be caught himself

'Wallees - Sinn Fein, refuse to sit in the House but like to lob in the occasional grenade and would appreciate the occasional acknowledgement of their existence
