Two horses off my tracker running today CEILING KITTY and SLEEPING CITY...........I have backed SLEEPING CITY!!!!!
Wouldn't be in a mad hurry to back any of AO'B's 2-y-o's FTO. Last year they were winning but this is a bit like two years ago when they all needed the outing.
Coral Sands - Hamilton 7.25 Have been waiting on this fellow to run for 3 months now, he was running over 6f and the trip is too sharp for him, this horse needs the 1m at least and he runs over 1m 1/2f this evening and is fully expected to win, i was told along time ago about this horses plans and i'm hoping he can deliver this evening.
I really fancy one in the 7.05 Aintree tonight in the form of Irish raider NOW THIS IS IT 14-1 a price I can barely believe. This horse really is a model of consistency and unlike several of the fancied runners he will relish this trip. I think on the balance of his form the handicapper is still giving him every chance. He is coming back from a break that should not be a concern as he has gone very well fresh in the past. He really is great value in my opinion.
Like that one a lot.....backing him the place market along with Art professor,,,both way to big a price in my humble opinion!!!
Also like Alpha Victor in the 8.15 Ainyree..... ....and the bumper I will leave to the Stickmeister to unravel!!!!! Any thoughts Stick?
Sorry fellas, mistake three out seemed to stop it in its tracks, had looked to be going very well too!
Bizarre moves for the de Haan and Todhunter horses in the bumper. Henderson has a lousy record in Aintree bumpers and few would guess this but of the trainers with runners tonight its Peter Bowen that has the best record in Aintree bumpers. It's a toughie this one but Ben de Haan is one hell of a shrewd judge when he goes for a plot so my vote goes to his FLEET LEADER who hails from a decent family albeit not as fancy as Henderson's!
Now it looks like strong suit wont run- will Hughies ride Dubawi Gold tomorrow @ 50/1 he may not be a bad e/w if excelebration is not 100% or Joseph Obrien mucks the ride up completely giving the horse too much to do or doing to much to quick (like what hes done for the past 2 weeks or so on Maybe, St Nic Abbey & Twirl, when all looked certainties to win)
Jesus Wooly give the young one a break - he has produced some fantastic rides this season and only in one of the three above did he mess up. That was SNA. Maybe - Couldn't go with Homecoming Queen - even if she could the whole of the field got it wrong and she was never going to win on the day Twirl - Was just no match for the Fugue - Joseph gave her a nice ride.
I agree bit harsh on twirl but Maybe was given way too much- he thought he would be able to pick HQ off. She should have won easily! And that will be proven come the Oaks. But Im sorry he just frustrates me sometimes- I do like him but he is just bit naive at times! but it will come!
