Wonder if carra is in the 12? My personal 12 would be, (in no particular order.) rafa, carra, Pep, martinez, klopp, Denny Dalglish (Kenny's VERY similar looking brother - such disguises can fool americans.) Capello AVB Alan hansen me + 2 others Final 4 would be: rafa, martinez, Pep, me. |Finally they plump for rafa (did you see the pun,) with pep continuing his holiday, martinez going to Villa, And me sent off on a fact finding mission by LFC to answer the questions.....How can breasts be best displayed by female fans in liverpool football shirts...... A job i will do with 100% passion and commitment
who is 'rene girard'? Is is this guy? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ren%C3%A9_Girard Clever bloke, but I doubt he;s up to the job...
I'm incredulous some people have actually put Carra forward and not just on here. Based on what, exactly? Shouting and clapping? When he does go into management what are the chances it'll be football Hodgson style?
If you take a look at who carra has follow over the years. He has always had a massive soft spot for Barcelona. he may have played hoofball a bit as a player, but that was probably just playing to his strengths and weaknesses. there is no indication he would be anything like that as a manager. Saying that, i think its too early for him, saying that i would love to see him as a player coach for next season......Daily mail have done a good article on it, giving information such as Carragher spends as much time with the youth as he does with the senior squad, and other premier league managers respect his knowledge of world football so much that they often phone him to ask advice on prospective players. being that along with Gerrard he is part of the heart and soul of our club, i think he would be a fantastic addition to the first team coaching staff and a ral possibility for manager in the future.
What would be every ones 12 man shortlist if you were in control? Mine: AVB Rafa Klopp Guardiola Martinez Bilic Blanc Lowe Ranjick Rijkaarrd Pardew Mouriniho Yes I do have Martinez on there, as he is a likable guy and I'd be interested to hear what he has to say/ offer. Edit: I forgot some people.
Ditto he comes across as a very humble guy, was reading his interview he gave to the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16564747) and I would really like to see what he could do. I will always remember the support he gave Rafa during his final season, he was the ONLY prem manager to stick up for him whilst the SAF bummers slagged him off
Whoever it will be, as long as they try to play good footy and we start to score, they will have my backing. If we go into the direct, long ball, huff and puff style again, it will be difficult. NOT saying I won't support the club, but the liverpool groove, pass and move, it is what we do, it is how we should play. Edit: don't have to score, but we get a goal scorer that can put the ball in the net!
Rangnick wouldn't handle the premier league. He had to quit Schalke because he was diagnosed with post-viral fatigue syndrome
Page, I think I'll just keep you indark when you're down to one. I want to make it a surprise. Bruce Arena is a good option if you just want to keep things tight and compact, like most mid table clubs. Probably when he's on your short list. That's why the Galaxy have been so poor this year IMO. When you have a team on paper that is that dangerous attacking and a coach who doesn't know how to coach attacking football.
