Good player who would have improved us imo. He isn't coming. So be it. No sweat either way. There are others on the radar me thinks.

I don't see how he would, if he was a regular for us then we certainly would be going backwards, he has been shocking for most of the season just gone. Only positive would be helping Ji and Wickham but who says they won't be on loan next season? Agree with MoNsMush when he says not arsed about this one
He has vast experience and is a top pro. We have precious little of either imo. That said, I am not fussed either way to be fair. There are better options available.
