Personally i have had enough of this saga, time to move on to the likes of Jack Hunt from Hudds and forget all about Ward. With the likes of Blackpoo/Leeds/Burnley/Sheff W after him i think we are wasting our time, he is just hanging on for the best deal poss (as one would rightly do) and i don't think Clegg the **** will be able to offer the best deal!!

Move on Jewell and Cleggy me old muckers, lets not waste valuable time chasing players that aint wanting to come.

1 out of 3 aint bad!

The Star can reveal that Portsmouth born-and-bred Ward’s three main factors in choosing his next club are:

    – Which club will give him the best chance of achieving Premier League football as quickly as possible

    – A manager who can improve on his potential the most

    – The club who has the best infrastructure and training facilities

Which is the one you were thinking off JWM, I can't think of one that we really can claim!

This is just degrading for a club of our stature to be left hanging in limbo! Get real people this is how low Ipswich Town has finally sunk. Waiting for a player from a relegated club to make a decision on joining us!

TBH JWM and its not because i'm happy with the situation, we don't have the stature that you speak about anymore. 10 years, 10 ****ing years in the championship has taken its toll on us. we are not longer the prize move to most players, it breaks my heart to say it as a town fan, but its the reality of the subject! how do we get it back, by hard work and a hell of alot of luck!

To be fair, there are 5 other clubs who are battling for his signature, so at least it shows we are going after a player that is in demand, rather than just picking up scraps. He's due to make a final decision this weekend and if the likes of Leeds, Palace, Wednesday, & Burnley are willing to wait for him, then I don't see how it's "degrading" to ITFC at all. We need to accept that if we are trying to sign players who can really make a difference to our first team (which is what we all want), then other clubs will more than likely be interested in them as well - it's hardly a bad sign is it?

to be honest, it seems obvious he doesn't want to go to ipswich. if he was interested then i believe he'd have signed fro you by now. its not as if he's only just found out ipswich are interested in him, is it! i imagine he wants to go to leeds cos thats where his bum-buddy is but maybe leeds aren't prepared to match his demands. balls in his court but i'd bet you're last in line for his signature <ok>

Should have a look at a few of the MK Dons lads, couple of them looked very composed on the ball coming out of defence. Wouldn't be much cash and the just to come down the road to us should appeal.

He sounds like a boy with his head screwed on.
There's no way he'll sign for Paul Jewell, aka Mike Bassett

Sorry JWM, anything related to Mike Bassett and I can only think of our feathered friends up the road. How times change...... <wah>

Guru, I think I've seen a film with a similar title but I don't think the Cleggster was in it <laugh>
