Thats what I was thinking too. Maybe after being dropped twice in the same season he has finally decided to wake up a bit and prove to the gaffer why he should be no:1 rather than taking it for granted.
It just shows that he needed a mentor to show him where he was going wrong and to improve him. TK was just that.
that's a very big 'if'...i'm a big Loach fan, but after watching TK, it showed the gaping gap between them. I would love to think Loach could play like that every week..i can imagine he'll have to, so we can but hope!
And between us all a left footed winger (a bit of a rare thing), a striker and a keeper are our priorities. Sounds reasonable to me. Let's hope we can get some decent prospects in.
Yup - have been off sick for two weeks. Today is the last day thankfully - have been slowly going out of my mind with boredom.
I guess it all depends on who leaves... but I'd probably try and get rid of Gimartin, Mirfin, Yeates and Garner I would then try and bring in another keeper - and older person who can help SL and challenge for the No.1 shirt Defence maybe try and bring in another left back, but don't consider a priority With Yeates going, I would try and bring in a winger for each side. We can't expect Murray to play all season. If we have money from the Sordell deal, would it be worth making a cheeky £750k bid for Kightly, then a signing on fee on top of the £5k a week wage - doubt he'd come though with Wolves looking at bouncing straight back. I would certainly be looking at bringing in another striker...
Wasn't he rubbish for Leeds this season though??? Plus he's prone to give away lots of free-kicks with the way he plays the game. Back in the day I loved him, I saw him as one of the best English left backs in the country but refs allowed players to get stuck in more back then, it's much stricter now. Plus he's fairly slow these days too.
