Not sure whether this has been posted but two weeks ago when Bayern played Cologne in the final league game of the season the trio of suspended players didnt take part

    The team was as follows

    Manuel Neuer

    Philip Lahm - - Jerome Boateng - - Anatoliy Tymoschuk - - Diego Contento

Bastian Schweinstiger - - Toni Kroos

Arjen Robben - - Thomas Muller - - Franck Ribery

    Mario Gomez

Now as you look at that team it is very attack heavy and the central midfield trio arent know for their defending so it probably the place to get Mata into as most likely will bypass the midfield

And Tymoschuk at centre back is a big plus for us, Drogba could have a field day against a 34 year old defensive midfielder playing center back alongside a very shaky Boateng and if we can get Kalou running at Contento then all the better

    My team would be

    Didier Drogba

Fernando Torres - - Juan Mata - - Salomon Kalou

Frank Lampard - - John Obi Mikel

    Ashley Cole - - David Luiz - - Gary Cahill - - Jose Bosingwa

    Petr Cech

Now my main points would be to play Torres because hes more disciplined than Sturridge plus he has big tournament game experience and the cutting in could give Drogba help plus Torres isnt exactly a bad crosser

Kalou has played well in Europe and can see him exploiting their reserve left back

Only thing then to worry about is keeping the goals out

I think your Chelsea Team is as good as we can put out. Whoever Bayern play will be very good players. Tough game, but so were Napoli and Barca.

Can play in either position but hardly a world beater at centre back.

I think Kalou or Malouda will get the nod ahead of Torres

Kalou and Malouda might both play if he sticks Mata in the middle.

I would pick Torres all day long over Sturridge, Malouda or Kalou, think we can defo get goals my main concern is Bosingwa v Ribery<doh> let's hope he get's PLENTY of back up from Cahil and Luiz cos i think he's gonna need it, also reckon Cech gonna have to be at his very best

C'mon uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu baaaaaalllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooos lets stuff the Germs...and Arry n the Spuds<whistle>
