Yet even with three sides and a knackered pitch we host internationals!! Any player weak minded enough to fall for pschological influence of the ground rather than the staff is the wrong kind of player so let em go, not into prima donnas myself. Why would a missing stand inspire an opposition side, I cant see that myself. I hope we have the reputation of being a responsible club rather than a bunch of overspending dreamers, like greece the game has to cut its cloth!!!
Totally agree, it still amazes me that there are still clubs that havent heeded the warnings of Pompey ,us,and many others that have gone into or flirted with administration
But we don't get the attention of the national media anymore? - probably because we are a very average mid-table Championship club and we are not in the Premshite. Sweet Jesus, talk about not understanding the obvious - perhaps if Baz put us into admin a few times like Pompey we would get that attention! Well not for me, I would rather go week in week out to a average mid-table Championship club than be a Pompey or the scum...
Good point who does get the media attention for the right reasons? Man U, Man C, now I'm struggling, Chelsea the rest of the media attention and in fact a fair bit of chelskeas surrounds failure not success, unlike a spoiled child wfc doesnt crave attention at all costs.
i can hear Shorty, but not when he's near us! It's totally weird. the Welsh teams...sickeningly enough!
We are a selling club and we sell our best assets every single season. If we got more media attention, more positive media attention, then we would find it even harder to keep hold of our better players. Besides, the English media are a bunch of cocks anyway so who cares what they say or think? I like the fact that most people & the media think we are poo and dont really talk about us much. Coz while this is happening we can keep improving every season without any extra added pressure. There are advantages in being a small club, but you cant always have it both ways.
Do people still have a problem with Cowie!?!?!?! Can someone please explain what the hell he did wrong??
In his two full seasons he made Mark Yeates' goal tally look perfectly respectable. And he comes from Scotland.
One question I would like answered is WTF is going on re the new kit supplier and the new club sponsor?
That's what I'd like to know too. Hvae heard rumours it will be Puma, which will mean it will be just their normal season template, but in our colours - but nothigng has been mentioned at all on this! I would assume they are working hard on getting the best deal on both!
Puma tend to go with similar kits for all their teams, so would guess it would be something similar to this; Falkirk's kit for the new season
