I did hear us singing before City scored and I did see the bench rise in celebration before City won the match....So my interpretation is ....why aren't these fans celebrating Stokes draw, that they have just heard of and the fact we are staying up....in a way regardless of what is happening in front of them...No conspiracy here....move along ....nothing to see here. Enjoy us being premier league....save the big wins for next year for when we are going for a top six place
What the ****!We battled like lions against the the best team in England, tried our hearts out and almost pulled off the impossible.Ultimately on the day it was invain, but the pride i felt watching them was colossal. The ultimate aim was to stay in this league and it was achieved, anything else is by the by.If we had been offered a heavy defeat at City but still stay up there isn't one of us who wouldn't have taken it!I'm looking forward to next season not back at the last one!!
so you wouldnt cheer on the other team if it meant they were safe from relegation while putting the scum down? I would, I remember the Pompey fans cheering on WBA because they knew it would relegate Saints.
A significant number of Stoke fans-not all- were saying that while they didn't want to lose to Bolton, if it happened the sweetener would be that it would send us down. They were calling it a win-win situation. It happens.
I was told first hand that there were City in the QPR end ...I have moved on but this subject is possibly the most important thread of the season. I wasn't there as i couldn't get a ticket under 400 quid!. Col it's about time you were in fact a lot more objective about what went on. A high horse in my opinion is a akin to morals in this instance and what went on in this football match albeit not match fixings in any way was in complete conflict with what the game is all about. This was real and happened and NOT a bloody theorectical formation thread or a inaccurate reportage ... it clearly shows that we couldn't, wouldn't hold on having known the Stoke score and is the very core why so many of us felt a little let down to say the lease... We know you don't care so why continue to comment about the people that do... start thinking about your next formation because I do agree we are staying up... how we stayed up will alas be remembered because Stoke held Bolton not that we were in the best match for 20 years. Swords and Nines etc are well within their rights to feel pissed .. I did. I also thought we would finish 8th and was laughed at ..yet next year I am sure i won't be alone with this view ... We finished just 15 points off , 5 games out of 38 in which we had 9 players sent off .. it isn't hard to do the maths. To help you understand the frustration some are going through still ... Does it still hurt that we gave Norwich 6 points? Gave a game to Wolves and Sunderland? I leave you to fill the other three points
Two late goals make it harder to accept but they scored in normal time with legitamte goals. No dodgy referring decisons, no flukey long shots or own goals and when you look at those stats surely that eases the pain as it is clear that City winning the game wasn't that much of a travesty after all. City had 35 shots and 24 on target. We had 3 shots on target as our total. City had 19 corners and we had o corners!! If we had won it would have been a pure smash and grab and the CItyfans would have a lot more reason to feel agrieved than we do now.
Wow....just seen the youtube video of the QPR fans cheering Man City to score....that got to be up there with one of the most rediculous things I have ever seen! They should be ashamed to call themselves Rangers............you NEVER EVER cheer when the opposition scores against you. What makes Man City any different from any of the big 4 giants? I so badly wanted us to win that game, at 90 minutes I was chewing my fingers off and to see our fans jumping for joy when we lost it.....im gobsmacked.
At least some true QPR supporters agree with what I was trying to say on the UTD board. You don't ever cheer another team scoring against you.No matter what!!
Yep and all those who booed the minute's silence at Wembley in the Cup semi were Spurs fans dressed as Chelsea supporters.
Lets just say if my team was on the receiving end of that I wouldn't be best pleased. In my opinion he killed the game. People call it gamesmanship. I just think he dived.
