What FSG are looking for in a manager.

So you logic is that we got rid of Comolli because we have more to spend not because he ****ed up last year and the players were ****? Good theory that one.

25m for Suarez

 

Can't see Suarez being sold for 25 million either, he's worth more say 35 million.

 

I doubt a transfer budget has been decided before any manager or directors are in.

 

But if you were a potential manager, wouldnt you want to know what the expectations of the owners are (in this case we know that 4th is the target) and how much money you were going to get in order to achieve this?

I'm sure any manager coming would have an idea of how much money for transfers they are going to need.

 

The new manager will want to know so yes it would have been decided.
Anyway,it is small and sales.

 

Not sure on that tbh. If, say, Mourinho was discussing terms (and I hope to god he isn't) then he'd be asking for 100mill investment from the owners. If it were Martinez, we could probably get by offering him 30mill to spend. Different reputations, different experiences and history of winning, etc.

The board will have several scenario's lined up and several 5 year plans
