They didn't say they would go down to the 4th tier and stay there...

Well, it just seems that we're all victims of false optimism, eh Lan?

Being in League 2 you obviously don't know much about the Champioship - I would say Millwall, Barnsley and Peterborough are smaller clubs - alsp these 3 would be my bottom 3 next year.

Where is Fleetwood? and how cold will it be on a Tuesday night??

City certainly are not the smallest club in the championship, there are many more smaller, potential at Bristol City is massive, the trouble is we need to see some real ambition then the crowds will be near capacity week in week out.

We welcome Bolton to the championship, who do you think of the three coming down who will possibly go back up.

I don't think any of them will myself.

But if you asked me for one I would say Bolton.

I reckon next season's Championship is going to be great. There's some really good sides in it, and we've just got to mix it with them. Seems to me it's all about the start we get off to. Last two seasons have been tough mostly due to abysmal starts. I ain't going to worry about it before a ball is kicked though, so lets be positive

Now Division 4 on the other hand is a who's who of non league football. No disrespect to those that have come up from the BSP over the years, fair play they've earned the right to play in that League.......happily the Rovers have also earned the right to play in that League! I had a horrible feeling that the Gash might have gone quite well next season under Nanny McGhee, and then they lost 4-0 at Dagenham and Redbridge, and I thought 'normal service is resumed'

There's one thing that most of us can agree on, and that is that Blackburn are going to struggle next season with Venkys and Kean in charge. I'd be shocked if things didn't get real ugly up there.

Wolves will build a challenging side under their new manager, and Bolton have Owen Coyle to depend on, so the relegated teams will put up a good fight.

The good thing is,if it can be considered good, our manager has just gone through the pain, now he is looking to improve and he has the experience,I have honestly got total faith in him....

There are certainly going to be some famous names and some big games in the Championship next season now that Blackburn and Bolton have joined Wolves in our happy little division.
Chuck in one or both Sheffield clubs (or possibly Huddersfield Town), along with Charlton, Leeds, Birmingham, Leicester, Middlesbrough, maybe West Ham as well, and you are already looking for any possible relegation candidates such as Barnsley, Peterborough, us.. ??!!

Not us Angelic, got a feeling that next seasonis going to be a stable year bit like Watford this season. Hopefully he will buy young hungry players who will bed in and then get better.

Venkys have had loads of time to sack Kean but have stuck with him, would not be surprised if he is still with them next season.

Well this years NPC had all the makings of a tough one at this time last year and it isnt easy to say who the front runners will be at this stage. Certainly the phrase no one can predict or no one could predict the outcomes over the past few seasons is totally inaccurate.

The concensus of opinion last season was the fore runners would be WHU Birmingham Leics Cardiff Midds and indeed all finished in the top 10.

I think poor old Donny were nailed on as fav's at the other end.... I had Watford 24th...but in the main I had 70- 75% correctly in top 10 bottom 10 or in the middle no mans land.

2012 - 2013 The year of the B's 7 so far possibly be 8..next years top 10 could concievably be
    Birmingham
    Bolton
    Blackburn
    Burnley
    (Blackpool)
    Bristol City
    Brighton
    Barnsley
BUT NOT IN THAT ORDER LOL

City must have achieved a target of 1.25 points ave after the first 8 games and improve from there on to better than 1.75 to get into the top 10.

Fixtures are everything who they are at where and when they are as important as the air we breathe. Its sometimes called luck, or a sudden upsurge or lack of form....Reading HIT IT AFTER THEY BEAT US.

    eg:-

If we start off next season with Fixtures like

    WHU v City
    City v Wolves
    Blackburn v City
    City v Bolton
    Sheff w V City
    City v Leics
    Hull v City
    Midds v City
Then 10 pts will be good!

You bore me to death with these stupid statistics, I can gurantee you this one though. I bet most of us could of got 70-75 % correct on saying who would be in the top ten or bottom ten and as you call it no mans land.

TIME TO PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS THEN

Before the next season starts, well no, I dont get back till 20th Aug so on or after the 20th Aug PUBLISH YOUR Top 10 Top 8 or whatever configuration to cover all 24 teams and see.......

    .

PS do not get confused...easily done mind you! not really statistics as they havent happened yet, merely points,( **** fixtures) observations ( all the B's ) and opinion ( how many points we need to finish mid table)
