Avb to Liverpool would be interesting for me. I don't think he did that bad for Chelsea, if he did similar for Liverpool he would probably exceed their own expectations and would attract players. Not too sure how brendan would get on I have seen him linked too.
How do you feel Martinez would do at Liverpool. Very mixed at Wigan, poor at the beginning of the season, almost world beaters at the end.
I don't think Martinez has a prayer of getting the Liverpool job, they'll go for someone with Champions League experience.

I think Martinez would do well, given the chance. He set the blueprint at Swansea for how they play football now. At Wigan he usually loses his best players, as mad Dave cashes in. I think this season was largely driven by injuries at the start, when they got the 11 on the field they wanted, they were superb. Victor Moses looks a cracking player now, another season at Wigan like this last one and he'll be ready for a top 4 club.
Maybe it's a DoF role to let Di Matteo have it long term, without having the same problems AVB had from not having an older head in an authority figure role telling the players to get on with it.
