Not been here to defend myself , been away giving blood .Pint number 67 !!! Can't see any of young wimps giving blood
I don't think an apostrophe should be in supers. Apostrophes are used to split up words (not happening here) or to show the possession to someone. Unless super owns his grammar, which I don't believe he/she/it does, then it should not be included. Please note my two different styles of parenthesis. Hope you enjoyed them.
Fixed - the plural of parenthesis is parentheses. I can only see one style - there's an open and a close parenthesis, right enough. I reckon Trev's possessive apostrophe was correct as it replaces an additional "e" that was used in Olde English. Trev doesn't actually OWN the apostrophe but it is relevant to him as the proper noun.
this should keep all our current players happy anyway. not allowed to buy new players means we have to look after our present squad. now they will all need extra good contracts just to stay with rangers. whisper "maybe a few tax concessions as well"
The apostrophe in "super's" was correct in the context. It demonstrates implicit possession. You were talking about his grammar (explicit possession). This is why yer a CAD monkey.
Fair enough fellas, I feel like I've been schooled this morning. CAD monkeys are the brains in the engineering firm. Try making sense of some of the stuff I'm given!! This morning my boss sent me 15 CVs to be printed out of applicants for a graduate geotechnical engineer position. 1 Nigerian who had a pigeon english CV, a Sierra Leoneoneoneon, a few English guys with double barrelled names, few Irish birds (who have since been internet stalked - one is on a dating/shagging website) and a Polish bird with a phd. * I was to print them out because he doesn't know how to work the printer. ** The position pays less than what I get
