Yep, agree. What makes hodgson think the same guys who flopped last time will do better this time round? They're even further past their prime. Shocking.
I think this is my main thought too....Forget the court case, innocent till guilty.....but on the pitch he is becoming a liability. He is picking up cards and getting sent off because he is losing his ability. He is simply not good enough. That is the main reason he shouldn't be in the squad. I worry about far too many of the other squad members too on that front. Downing, Cole, and our very own Defoe (he is ours isn't he?) They are just not good enough. People like Jagelika, Baines, Crouch, Sturridge and Richards are missing as well as young hopefuls like Naughton and Henderson...I assume Scotty Parker is too injured. It is a very old, conservative and boring squad. I am worried
