    I'm not sure it's worth bringing him back. The wage bill would be cleared enough for a new quality signing if he buggered off, never to return.

    Funny that, spends 4 years earning 60k a week; saunters round the pitch for an hour or so every 6 months only offering the occasional reckless tackle 20 yards from goal.
    Then, when his deal is about up, puts a bit of graft in to justify another 3 years earning money for nothing.
    Reckon he's ever met that Michael Owen fella?
    While I don't condone a mob attack for his Leeds connections, the guy could do with a shake.

    60k off the wage bill in the summer will be sweet. Sounds as though Pards is keen to keep him as part of the coaching staff which is good. I'd have preferred him off the wage bill sooner but I think that is possibly nobody's fault. We couldn't shift him and he couldn't take the wage drop. Just a bad signing by Sam (I think). Still did a fine job in the championship for us.
