Please turn off the light. No CEO No manager No assistant No DofF No Communications Chief No Medical Chief Pre season training to be run by Muriel and her tea staff.
With all of this negativity, I am hoping that we get a top manager and top players because this is getting rediculous.
Not a bad situation tbh- the club needed a whole new approach. Prospective managers might be attracted by the blank canvas.
Your entire post was. Whether it is banter or just having a joke, it is hard to read between the two with all the **** flying around and assumptions already being made. I say let the summer happen, let's see about next season before we start to jump to conclusions.
Guys they' re not idiots they are successfully businessman in sport. They will obviously replace these positions. I mean why wouldn't they? Everyone needs to calm down a little and see what happens.
calm down every one, your being ridiculous. Our owners will have a solid plan in place and they will already be working on it. Trust me. Every thing is perfectly fine.
I thought Kenny and Comolli was the plan. They had a plan in Florida too.....how did that one go again?
I think we are perfectly entitled to let off a bit of steam for a day, I look forward to hearing the owners plan for the future and will get behind any manager they install but for today I will vent a little
I agree that they are not idiots; but by sport you mean baseball, which is a completely different game to football. With baseball the stats based approach is more effective because it is more of an individual game, like cricket. Although they are part of a team the action is generally centred around two individuals at any time- pitcher and batsman. In football everyone (bar the keeper on some occasions) is involved. There are several new factors that come into play. Some players might not have great stats, but their presence enhances the performance of the others around them. I think the owners will be similar to Mike Ashley in that they have come into it relatively blind and are feeling their way around. Eventually they will figure it out- possibly just have with sacking Kenny and most of the Senior Team.
Ahhhhh.... Right; I get it! Ranting for 3 months about all the decisions made by KD is logical & declaring loudly that it is our right, neigh our duty to question as supporters the man making the decisions and any who are having simple faith in a man who's previous actions proved his love for the club are deluded. Buuuuttt. We should just calm down & put faith in a group we've known for two minutes & who as owners & by the very claims of those decrying KD got their original entire corporate & coaching structure of the club wrong. But we shouldn't question them at all. I'm very calm. But I do believe I have the right to be slightly alarmed that the owners by their own admission have got it wrong from top to bottom so far. I'm hopeful that they are fast learners. By their own apparent high standards they should be given 18 months.
Apparently Ayre to remain so he must have been the one to get all the good things right & was somewhere else when the bad things happened.
The mistakes they've made so far are minor in comparison to how Mike Ashley was running my beloved club in his first few years and he's learnt fast. If they can glean even a small amount from that then you'll be doing fine in no time at all.
This this and this ^^ I'm beginning to think that some Reds fans really haven't got a clue just what Kenny means to the Red side of this city. That by no means says he was untouchable but the least he deserved was a touch more dignity and class than he has been shown. I cannot believe so many people are quite so quick to put faith in these people after what we went through only 18 months ago. Time will tell whether or not they get things right but to be Frank (sorry) I think they've just given themselves a whole load of enemies. I think the timescale of 18 months is generous Frankly (whoops done it again)
Could be worse you could just be saying "dirty" to me a lot! I've not hid that I was a KD supporter & yet not to the point of fawning. All I'm bemused by now is that while I was being criticised for saying "patience" about KD, I'm now being told "patience " for questioning the know how of those who hired & fired him. And fired him in quite a disgraceful way. He was not a dog to go sit by his master & wait to see if it was a treat or slap.
