http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2144974/Stoke-sell-Kenwyne-Jones.html Tony Pulis will listen to offers for Kenwyne Jones as he tries to slash Stokeâs wage bill. The influx of players since the £8m Trinidad and Tobago striker joined Stoke two seasons ago is testing the clubâs finances. Southampton, Anzhi Makhachkala and QPR are interested. Waddo Looks like I'll be up most of the night. Eldest girl's gone into labour and STILL at home waiting for a call wish me luck.. BACK on topic All I can say is SOD IT but I doubt we'll get even half the sum paid for KJ? Just seen that Jordan Rhodes has scored his 40th goal for Huddersfield tonight. Pulis may as well look in the lower leagues IMO. QPR? I doubt it but the Saints that could happen. Just put in a clause that say's JK can't play against us next season.
All the best for the new arrival Potts hope everything goes to plan and we have a new little Stokie in the morning Stoke always seem to loose heavily on selling their tat on. That's what made me think before about Coates using City for tax loss reasons!
We should have let him go in the last transfer window IMO. We would be lucky to get half the money we paid for him, he hasnt had a competitive game in the prme for over 18 months!
I read the article about KJ in today's Daily Mail, who suggest that Pulis needs to slash his wage bill since last summer's transfers have put a strain on the clubs finances. Oh dear, and I thought we were well solvent. Just goes to show that if you pay over the odds for players to sit on the bench and don't off load deadwood or allow players to leave on the cheap and at a loss, eventually things get tight. Pulis has not spent wisely IMO and has paid out too much, and for what.... our worst finish in the 4 prem years so far. If PC is now tightening the purse strings who, of quality, are we going to be able to bring in for next season?
No not really we need some one to create more goal scoring opportunities and proper left and right backs.
Thanks for the good wishes guys.. SHE was born that Night Waddo.. 4:45AM typical woman.. I had ZERO sleep Tuesday night, ran the wife to hospital TWICE. I did get to bed last night at 6:30 when I listened to the Crewe / Southend game. It was good it kept me awake.. Woke up at 11:30 this morning.. still knackered. P.S. she a real looker, which is amazing cos my missus say's she looks like me. I decided I've enough grandkids now.
Really well Smither's Was home by half two that afternoon.. healthy and she has great lungs. And she will be another one for the Boothen End in a few years. Thanks all you guys for the best wishes!
Why dont you buy bendtnar off us? He is big enough to do the target role but could help you play some more football because he isnt that bad with his feet and could fit in with crouch decently.
I do think Bendtner would do allright for us, but he is a big time charlie and him and pulis would end up having a naked headbutting contest in the shower.
