anyone ever think?

The whole league/leagues are just a complete waste of time/ ? After watching Man City showing off a trophy to their fans 9 month for that. Millions spent for that. I seem to get less interested in the game year by year. Now I know there will be the inevitable posts of 'well fck off then'. Does anyone else ever get disillusioned look at the actualities of it all and get slightly depressed by it all? PS Is billy back yet?

Exactly, it's a silly game and you get a cup if u win (collectively) then you show it to people who cheer it. Is it really worth the effort and the finance invested in it?

I agree, yes they won they league with decent football & quality players, would they have done it without the financial backing they, would Man Utd or Chelsea won the league without their financial backing, it's because of this no other team will win the league

Football, and much of sport in general, is a weapon of mass distraction depriving you of time to research or learn about areas of real concern. Also a handy way to tribalise people and stop the general pubic putting on a united front.

As long as you recognise that and take football at face value for what it is you will be ok.
