No you're not. I think there will be a few more runners and riders in the managerial stakes before too long. Hopefully PL will see Villa as the poisoned chalice that it is and he will fall under Liverpool's radar. Regardless of the high regard he is held in I can't imagine them going for someone with only one season in the top flight. I reckon a "top" european coach is in the offing for them.
i know martinez is the likely candidate for liverpool, but does anybody really see why? is it based purely on his record in the last two months? if so, thats crazy. i mean, i really like the guy and think he has terrific potential, just as lambert does, though i'd say lambert probably is the better manager at this stage, but liverpool manager? really?? i just don't see it. its such an enormous risk. surely it'd be someone like bielsa or klopp - a top foreign manager who is exciting and could entice top players to liverpool. will martinez be able to do that? its doubtful lambert could either. my money will be on an approach for jurgen klopp from dortmund

if you are unaware of how football finance works by now yorkie then is there any point discussing this with you? just because a man is worth £1.5b does not mean the club has access to those funds. if he was planning on spending all that dosh i'm fairly sure he wouldn't have just halved their wage bill because he felt it 'way too high'. now please, leave this thread alone unless you're going to say something sensible.
