    Have a feeling that Parker will make the starting 11. Really not sure of who will deputise fro Rooney, much depends on the type of defence we are facing.

    Pretty sure that we will play deep and on the counter attack.

    Headline will read: 'Fat Frank sits it out as England look to shut up shop'

    If Gerrard and Lampard start in midfield, we will get ripped apart. Our defence will not be able to cope without a holding player like Parker sitting infront of them:biggrin:*

    Quite frankly, I don't give a flying ****, to paraphrase Shankly, if England were playing down the garden, I'd draw my curtains..

    I only ever show interest when it all implodes and I can rip the **** out of any ****er who thought that they were in with a chance of actually wining something.

    Has Hodgson ever played anything other than 442? No one wins anything with 442 anymore, just ask City, Barca, Chelsea & Bayern.

    I hope he does. He is a better option than Barry and we all know how successful and Gerrard and Lampard partnership is! IMO, Parker is the key to our midfield.


    Although I am inclined to agree that Hodgson is mainly a 442 man, he has been playing a 451/4411 system at Fulham this year.
