Forgot about Sturridge, he's a talented player and should be there. He gives something different which is what the England squad always lacks.

 

To be fair, Henderson knows how to pass a ball forward, and with barry and parker in the squad we have more than enough players that can pass it side ways !

Downing has performed for England and can play both wings so I always thought he'd get in.

Whatever players he'd have taken the squad would still have been a plile of ****. Some of his selections do beggar belief though, especially Downing and Walcott in while Carrick and Richards are out.

**** it though, I gave up years ago and won't be giving it a thought. They have to win me back as a fan and this squad won't do it. I've got plenty time for Hodgson but he's got a bucket of **** and piss to work with so he's up against it.
