Hart Ruddy Green Cole Baines Lescott Terry Jones Cahill Glen Johnson Walcott Oxo Young Downing Barry Gerrard Lampard Milner Parker Carroll Rooney Wellbeck Defoe
No Zamora, that's a relief, but still some perplexing choices. Disappointed that he's picked Terry, strikes me as a big gamble. Glen Johnson ahead of Richards? Surely SKD is more worthy than Butland? No Carrick even on the standby list? Will be interesting to hear the explanation. Has to be a last hurrah for Terry, Gerrard and Lampard surely...
GLEN JOHNSON NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Why not walker or Richards And Rob Green?? Is Hodgson having a laugh. Terry over Jagielka...Stewart Downing... and Defoe/Carroll over Holt. Not to mention Gerrard going over Barry, Scholes and Carrick. Different manager, same shortcomings. I am now a Germany fan. The ONLY positive ishamberlain going, but he will not get played once, I would put money on it.
Im suprised to see he has picked the same old "rubbish" as before. Terry, Lampard, Gerrard...... gets boring Same with no Richards, if we win im sure we will say he is a genius, but looking at this, not holding my breath Also hope Joe hart stays fit although Ruddy has been ok this year
Firstly, Scholes retired from international football about 10 years ago, secondly, Holt is unproven at international level, and thirdly Barry is made to look better than he actually is by Yaya Toure, David Silva etc. And Barry's included anyway
How does Rob Green go ahead of Kelvin Davis? Kelv was was voted the best keeper in the Championship and Green has had an indifferent season, making a big blunder that cost WHU against Brizzle.
Could play Oxo at CM, but I think he is too inexperienced there ATM. Lampard deserves his inclusion for me, he has been great for most of this season. I think Woy will play Lamps and Parker in a 4-4-2 though. Not a lot of pace or drive in there... Downing. I actually want to stop supporting England. 0 goals and 0 assists in the entire league season and he still gets picked. He has been a complete joke this season. How is his inclusion warranted, in any way?
Scholes said he would come out of retirement. Holt is better than the donkey that is Andy Carroll. He can actually control a ball and use his legs.
Incredibly light up front for first two games. Both Welbeck and Defoe are injury prone which just leaves Carroll!
Let's go through this... I'm happy to see Ruddy is in. He's been great all season and deserves a lot of respect. Green should be replaced by someone like Carson though. Jones I'm unsure of...would've liked to see Jags in there instead. Richards has to be taken over Glen Johnson anyday. Surprised AOC is going considering he isn't a regular for Arsenal. Downing is a shocking inclusion, considering Adam Johnson isn't going. Hell I'd even have taken Sinclair over him. Defoe going? Really?
I'm looking forward to the explanation for dropping Ferdinand but including Terry. Unless Roy states a reasoned, compelling, 100% football based argument, what does this say about the game?
