    Just to be 'off the wall' I'd have given it to Sean Dyche, hasn't had much to play with at the Hornet's and has done a fantastic job. Adkins and McDermott undoubtedly deserve recognition and plaudits so these would be my top three.

    Yes, I thought Watford could become another ex-Premiership team in the third tier after all their player losses in recent times so he did do a great job.

    I think McDermott got it for doing such an incredible job in the second half of the season to get them from 16th to 1st is impressive. If West Ham had finished top I think giving Adkins the award would have been more justifiable.

    I cannot dispute any of the LMA managers of the year, as they can all be justified. However, to give Lee Clark a special merit award seems a bit mad though!
