Yeah, but it is a soccerball stadium and there aren't too many in this country.

The Tallaght stadium could stick in a few more seats.

I wonder would the GAA pass a resolution to let the FAI back in there? I imagine they would.

    Rule 42 is still there.

It was just suspended whilst the Aviva was getting built. to lift it again it would have to go to congress all over again.

I read Sean Kelly's book on getting it suspended. He was a sleekit **** but the whole rigmarole is a nonsense.

Incorrectly worded motions, the same motion not being allowed to come up two years in a row, **** like that.

Trying to show UEFA around Croke park the last time the bid was mooted was an absolute joke. A complete embarrassment.

The Gaelic Grounds, Semple and Pairc Ui Chaoimh should be nicely done up by then. I think Fitzgerald stadium too.

Roger Casements abode should be pretty fine by then too, maybe a game or two considering players from all over Ireland will be playing for one of the hosts?

Just looking at a few things there. The plans are for the Pairc to be a 40k all seater.

More than enough really. Days where it is as full as that photo are few and far between.

On a fine day when it is full. It is a dilapidated hole in reality.

Very lucky there a couple of years back for a Munster Championship game against Tipp that folk weren't hurt. It needs to be leveled. Brian Corcorans book tells a story of a minor match going to extra time so the seniors couldn't use the changing room. The reigning all Ireland Champions had to change in a ****ty little room with no toilets or showering facilities. It really is a **** hole

Two Belfast stadia, two Dublin ones.....can't have that<grr>

McHale park is coming along nicely in Castlebar. Something would need to come west.

I was at a lovely stadium in Letterkenny the other night. Loads of room to temporarily add to it.

What the **** am I saying? A Uefa delegate isn't going to come up here to look at a GAA ground, nor are Ireland going to bid for it.....especially for a tournament in June...that is rainy season.

Cloud talk, but it could be done.
