Very good speech and good banter. While its not his style and he has been unbelievable for us and handles the press well, seeing this makes you wonder if he could make his life easier by acting this way to some of the press. Mind you it would be misquoted so maybe just carry on as he his, he is doing ok after all

 

kenny dalglish is very similar. behind closed doors he's an absolute gem (*luvvy klaxon* i've met him twice and he's one of the funniest guys i've met) yet stick a camera in front of him and he's extremely guarded

I really don't blame them. The way the media is you can't trust them to report it accurately, they will just take select words and build a story around it and of course it is hard to replicate the sarcasm in writing. Mind you you can see that sarcastic side in his interviews if you understand the way he works.

He thinks his quite funny doesn't he? It's like thanks for recording it mate but the odd commentary along with the exaggerated laugh at times is a tad gimpish.

 

Sounds like Lambert had had a few too, loosened up a bit, funny in a cutting way
