No chance - unless you get it surgically removed from his arse, which is where it probably ended up. ;)

Charlie, great story and the jewellers is Letto's and the costume shop is Horseplay. They're just a couple of hundred yards from the Town Hall. Your visit must have been before 2007 because we have GST (Goods and Services Tax) which is 5% (was originally 2%) and is on everything. The items that are exempt in the UK such as food, aren't exempt here.

    Morning all, lovely day today,

Glad you enjoyed the story - yes Barry it was June 2004, we stayed at the Mayfair Hotel in Brooklyn Street. Interesting about the tax always wondered why the clothes in M&S were cheaper than UK but the food dearer.

Mornin' all. Tis a sunny day here, but still quite cold for this time. However, none of that matters as i will be tidying the room today and probably reorganising it a fair bit too.

Ak, if you look at the second paragraph it does mention that Brian McDermott won it.

Youngest had his annual review at school today, all very positive and I'm playing in a cup quarter-final this evening. It's for the work cricket team, but due the number of teams involved it's also the second round.

Well done to the youngster, good luck tonight Barry.

I see that Doris was committed to Crown Court for his New Year Assault. Appearing on 11th June for a Plea Hearing. If he pleads not guilty I can see this running into next season.

Unfortunately we lost but we were playing a side the division above us which due to the limited number of players on the island, is a big thing.
