Es gibt nur ein Bastian Schweinsteiger! (There's only one Bastian Schweinsteiger!) Bayern ueber alles! Chelsea sind Preussen! (Chelsea are Prussians!--Prussians are to Bavarians what English are to Scots)
1st one could be to the same tune as the English version, without Bastian). Bayern Ueber alles = Na na na na na na na na na na na, Bayern ueber alles, ueber alles, Bayern ueber alles (van der Vaart song) Chelsea sind Preussen = same tune as Robin Van Persie... They all work so well!
I was on the German supporters train from Cologne on their way to the 1966 WC Final. I got on with a large union jack on the back of my rucksack with two Dutch mates. All very friendly but lots of banter. Every time the train stopped at a station the German supporters hung out the windows chanting Beckanbauer, Beckanbauer. 3 voices from the middle of the train chanted Charlton, Charlton.
they are so desperate for a striker next season they have offered athletico madrid 12 million +Torres for falcao, good business that buy him for 50 mill, then get rid of him a few months later as a makeweight in a transfer deal
I think a few liters of a Munich beer, and maybe a spiffed up avatar, will put me in the proper frame of mind for the game.
More "Teach Yourself German" chants for the Bayern Hotspur game:- Die gleiche alte Chelsea! Immer betrûgend! (Same old Chelsea! Always cheating!) Taxi fûr Cech! (Taxi for Cech!) Wenn Cashley Speil fûr England so kann ich! (If Cashley plays for England, so can I)
im loving this Bavarian feel to our board and gret phrases HIAG...that leaves me 4 days to learn them
Die gleiche alte Chelsea! Immer betrûgend! (Same old Chelsea! Always cheating!) Ganz gut! I have such good memories of Munich...would be a great time to have one more.
