Jermaine Pennant given an 8 WEEKS jail sentence Supspended for one year. Also banned for THREE years... you lucky lad. NOW learn from this and just play football Jermaine.. PLEASE! Oh, and employ a driver, you earn enough money surely. Thoughts?
Very lucky. I dont think it will make much of a difference for Stoke though. Even if he stays I cant see TP playing him game in game out!
Smither's Let's hope both Pennant and Pulis see sense.. One does not DRIVE and PULIS plays him every week if fit.. I put a sticky on this as most Stoke fans will have their own oppinions on this verdict. Lucky indeed how long left on his contract mate?
Don't know but I would have thought he would have signed a 2 or 3 year deal when his loan spell was completed!
Thanks mate EDIT, Smither's I forgot to say that AS I PROMISED I am in the process of writing a letter to Tony Pulis will be sent as "Confidential only to be opened by the addresee" Shall I post it on here WHEN i've finished it? Or would that be a bit of a stupid thing too do? Already writen TWO A4 sheets and will type it out when I'm happy with it. The letter of course not Mr Pulis, I think I've made that pretty obvious already and I can manage at least another full page. I tried to speak to him a couple of months back, funny thing was all the player's were at Clayton Wood. Pulis wasn't there?
I know hes a Stoke city player but what a disgrace that "sentence" is. what kind of message has that sent out to other young lads?. Ive gone right off Pennant now, and he has bought shame on our club yet again!!!!. We really do look a right ****ty outfit now dont we?, why dont we sign Joey Barton and then we can hit rock bottom. Shame on you Pennant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I wouldnt play him again mate!!!!!!!!, so its ok for him to drive pissed up when he is banned in other words?, what a joke, it makes me laugh that they only really get a proper sentence when an innocent person gets hurt. If Pennant had driven his car into a child he would be looking at 15 years minimum, yet because he hasnt hit anyone he gets nowt?, what a ****ing ****e justice system we have!!!!!!.
I think thats up to you Potts - no shame in posting what you have taken time and effort to put on paper to TP. I would be more interested in the response myself.
Unjustifyingly lucky, still think we should get rid as part of the alleged clear out( or is that a rouse to justify not signing anyone) I don't think we would get the best out of him if Pulis stays.
Ive said it before and ill say it again, whats wrong with signing Chris Eagles?. Hes a very good attacking winger who we would get at a bargain.
He's very lucky indeed. Should he stay? If he now see's sense and focuses on football he may be useful to us, but he is at the last-chance saloon as far as his football career is concerned. However TP being as he is, I can't see him picking Pennant on a regular basis so he may go off the rails again. Unless JP does knuckle down I can see him being allowed to leave. I would not be too concerned if he left, especially if TP can sign a decent winger.
Eagles would be good for us, but both wingers need to be on the pitch and need support to create space.
I agree Pennant should be locked up but.. IF he's still a Stoke player? and as Smither's says, we think he's on a contract we should play him WHY? Because we do not have a better winger right side. I might add that too my letter too Tony Pulis.. BOTH of them need to wake up and see the light IMO. It would mean we sell Pennant for how much? Chris Eagles I would sign him having seen him on Saturday play very well.
Crazy, I think that's more down to defensive frailty than 1 winger, but still think we need the right and left back positions filled properly before anything.
It makes me laugh,no matter what we say or think, Pulis will do what he wants. We have got some good young players, but they will never play in the first team,we should have had a few on the bench, the last 2 matches, but they are not in the 25 man squad, but big mamma was.
No TP doesn't seem to trust the youngsters they may do something he hasn't planned for, like play football.
