I know he's been injured and stuff, and it is promising that Pardew has faith in him, but doesn't anyone think we should give him more time?

While he's developing he'd make a great impact sub. Good defensive qualities, good going forward. You can see the potential, but he needs developing. He's got some great skills, but there's just things about his game that could with improving.

He's got great pace over long and short distance. Probably the fastest player in the squad behind Obertan and Santon.

    He could be very useful.

I like him. One could argue he's a bit lightweight but he has enough pace to negate that. The fact that Pardiola seems to rate him is enough for me. I think he will get more of a look-in next season.

There'd be no point in him bulking up. Strength doesn't mean everything. He has good enough balance to stay on his feet and good aggression. Ashley Cole isn't strong at all, but he's got to be one of the best LB's in the world.

Coloccini is probably the weakest CB in a teams starting 11 in the PL this season, but he;s been one of the best.

Fergies got a very good game in him and if he doesn't get more game time he's going to be very unhappy and want away.

He needs to be treat with respect. He hasn't let us down when he's been on the pitch.

Defo, he is great for when we opt to open out from the narrowish 433 and give width. Sometimes (like Wigan away) other managers will find ways to counter act the way you set up. You either need to start the game set up differently if you can predict the oppos tactics or always be ready to change quickly (formation and/or personnel). Part and parcel of the modern game and something Pards is very good at in my opinion.

    Really like Ferguson.

I certainly like Fergie. Can't think he's ever let us down when he comes on and is always lively. I think next season will see him progress and see a lot more games.

As I said, he is lightweight but he has enough pace to negate that. The same way Ashley Cole does as well. If you are comparing Ferguson to Cole because you think he is a left back though, you are wrong. He won't be a left back. Even Pards has already said that.

I'd love to see him get more game time, excellent pace, excellent skills on the ball, and takes players on, not intimidated at all!

I'm not worrying about him being lightweight, people worry way too much about this in England and that's why British teams produce **** footballers these days. He's got good pace and hellish skill to worry any defender and is a genuine prospect whether he bulks up or not. He's a winger, doesn't need to be built like Hulk Hogan FFS.

I don't worry about him being lightweight but he undoubtedly needs to strengthen. Even the Spanish lads who are little, are rarely 2 stone wet through. He is under the athletic build that is the norm for footballers worldwide. He certainly wouldn't want to put masses of muscle on though. Ashley Cole has been mentioned. He has natural strength and although slight, still has an athletic build. That's as far as Fergie will need to go.

He is not fine as he is though, hence all the steak and milk diet stuff!

I think he'll be crucial in our Europa League games when resting certain players. Would have my backing too, wonderful little player!

Agree, I think we can do well in this cup and give players like Ferguson, Abeid and Vuckic a go.

yeah i like the lad me & think he should defo get his chance next season like he's been good so far from what i've seen & think most people will agree. the good thing aswell is that hes not been hyped up to much ''being the next best amazing thing'' etc & hes not over rated either. good prospect for the near future or in the long term
should get him on a good 5 year deal or something

Saw Fergie when he played for us against Chelsea in a 4-3 win. He looked the business then and I'm surprised we haven't seen more of him. I can understand keeping him under wraps and protecting him but I hope he doesn't feel he's being kept too closely under wraps and want's away.
