Yeah, but either way it would be amazing. I would try to get you a piece too. Night night H. I will be off soon too. I have got hooked on backgammon though.
Morning all, still wet and miserable here, only a week to go till my Holiday thank goodness. With all the great stories on Airport experiences over the weekend made me think of a funny incident that happened when I was taking a long weekend break in Jersey. We were away with friends and my mates wife had recently lost her crucifix that she always wore and my mate had promised to buy her a new one while we were away as it was tax free. Whilst walking up the main shopping Parade we went into a Jewllers called Lett's or Letto's (It was on a corner Barry opposite a Fancy Dress Shop). Anyway in we go and there is a young lady behind the counter who greets us and asks to help. My friend's wife then asks to see the Crucifixes, 'Certainly Madam' she says politely 'Did you want to look at the plain crosses or the ones with the bloke on?'. I burst out laughing at this and my wife pushed me out of the shop.
Morning all. The weather here is B-E-A-utiful! The sun is out, the birds are chirping and its pretty warm too. This had me nearly spitting my milk out of my nose. Its hilarious!!
Afternoon all - just a flying visit. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18064760 Looks like MM may have been a bit premature?
I forgot the morning service. We have more snow now. I was in the hospital as when I made a test of my eyes the eyeman found a spot. I was sent to the hospital to have the spot checked and it is a nevus so there is nothing to worry about. I spent more time waiting than being looked at. It is funny how a mark on the skin is called a pimple and in the eye the same thing is a nevus which sounds really bad.
Once again he is stealing ideas from other clubs, only this time its Saracens lol. They regularly play at Wembley and has planned to play in SA/ZA (whichever you call it)
Just got word from my mechanic - my car is to be laid to rest. I now have to scour the car yards of Aberdeenshire/Morayshire for a suitable replacement by Thursday - 'suitable' meaning dirt cheap to buy, dirt cheap to run, dirt cheap to insure and dirt cheap road tax. Methinks I'm in trouble.
I have recently had this problem taking our old partner van for its Mot they said it would cost more to fix than it was worth ,it had done 200 000 miles and was a bit tatty and everything had worn out
Ooh i love Backgammon! I'm far better at that than i am at chess! lol Bloody funny that! lol Trying to feel sympathy..but nope, just can't feel it...sorry! Glad everything is okay Ak! Poop sorry to hear that BB...i'd offer you mine but the clutch is on the way out... I wonder if they've thought of doing that...
Yeah, i am much better lol. Although my maths needs to improve for me to get better. They have done it before i think. Most clubs do when they tear up the pitch. I would have the penalty spot where Marv scored against Posh. It will be the least worn part having only been used twice (2nd was Saints)
Afternoon all from the Med. Thought I would just pop by to make sure you are all behaving well. The holiday has had a snag or two, but nothing much to spoil things. The hotel that we stayed in for a couple of nights in Nimes had a air conditioning breakdown and with the temperature 33C during the day and 27C overnight it was rather uncomfortable. The second night we left the windows open, to be woken at 4.00am with motor bikes going past on the dual-carriageway several hundred metres away. The hotel was also rather further away from the centre of the city than it appeared on a map. As we left the car in the hotel car park and walked in to see the sites, it was quite in order to spend time under a canopy outside a bar and do some people watching and take on fresh fluids. We had enjoyed our time down here so much last year that we had decided to come back and see some of the coastline to the west. The first encounter was with a French couple that we met last year and they were pleased to meet up with us again. As we are near to Beziers, on the western end of the coast, you cannot help but notice that there are new appartments going up wherever there is a sea view. The eastern end has been like that for some years, but there must be a market for them. You see signs that say there are only one or two left, yet go into the towns and cities and you see far too many empty shops. It seems like a contradiction that there is money for what is often only holiday accomodation, yet nothing to spend in the shops. It seems that all is quiet at the Vic. No news that I have seen in my brief flirtations with the internet. If there has been put in on the club news thread and I will catch up again in the next day or two. Spent this afternoon on a vinyard tour, so will have to try some of these new bottles to see if they can help the Horns to even more wins next season.
