A striker would be my number 1 priority and I really don't know who, lots of dreams and ideas but I cannot pick one player that I think we can and will get.

My second priority would be a right winger and my choice would be Adam Johnson, not another English player I hear you cry! I think he's a top talent and fits the bill, he's quick, tricky and likes to get goals, he may be available after being snubbed by Mancini for large parts of the season.

    What are your thoughts?

No doubt that we have been poor in front of goal this season as a chance conversion is shocking. However, I do question the quality of those chances created as I don't believe we create that many genuine, clear cut chances. (Not as many as the stat implies).

For this reason, I would rate a RW and CM just has highly as a striker. The midfield is seriously lacking any pace, power, skill, creativity.

Good player, don't understand why he doesn't feature more.

Would City sell? He fits our needs on the right and scores goals.

Its not bad to buy English/British, just as long as they arent the average ones <Cough> Downing <Cough>. If you are able to buy the best British players then your going to do well, its a shame there arent very many at the moment.

Johnson is a very good player who hasnt been able to show how good he is cause City have other players who are better, such as Silva. Theres got to be a point where Johnson get tired of playing 2nd fiddle to the Man City 1st team.

That's why I think he may be worth a bid, he wouldn't be cheap but maybe available at the right price.

I thought he recently signed a contract extension, so it may appear he has a future there?

Well it could be the other way around, puts loads of effort in Training and is awful on the pitch, like Downing.

Besides the same was said about Carroll when he first came, Kenny gave him the kick up the arse and now by all reports Carroll has started to put in effort at training and its started to pay off on the pitch.

Anyway I would still prefer that we look outside England for future signings. British players are way over priced in the current market.
