Portsmouth didnt deserve to go down. There deffensive record was the same as Blackpools! The ten point deduction made life impossible for them to stay up with the tiny squad & all the off field problems they had.

Ward would be a great signing <ok>

Halford is a big lad 6' 4" and I like the fact he can wade in with 5-7 goals a season, I assume from corners or set pieces.

Ward and Halford would be great signings, Norris and Varney... not so much.

Norris is a ****ing tool, and that in no way...in the slightest....whatsoever....at all has to do with the volley he scored to equalise against us in the last minute <whistle>

Ward and Halford would be awesome, right-back problem sorted!! Pompey weren't that bad last season, they clearly struggled to come to terms with bankruptcy and the ten points deduction, and of course the long running saga of not getting paid and possibly not being able to fulfill their fixtures. They had a very tough time, but seldom got walloped like us. Lost a number of very close games, and drew a few they should have won. They had too many talented but overpaid players who weren't playing for the club either and who simply never stood up to be counted....Kanu, Benjani et al.

Portsmouth starting XI was as good as most teams in the Championship, they had no depth which was their down fall. if they were struggling they had no one to bring on to change a game. Unlike us who had Billy Paynter to rely on as plan B.

Greg Halford - Is a talented player who needs a great manager, He would be a class player for Leeds and gives a ready made defensive partnership.
Joel Ward - Would fit in on the left hand side as a replacement for Aiden White

The other two are poor journeymen...

Josh, are you saying White or Ward then. You're not a fan playing White on the wing? Are we all in agreement that White is not good enough at left back?
