Theyve came here, took a pay cut and havnt even won yet.

West Brom is a massive game now, with all respect to them they are the sort of teams who these lads should rip to shreads?

I think its unfair to criticise them now when we have played our hardest run of fixtures considering they need time to adapt to the league and an easier run of fixtures might give them a chance to show what they do.

Muntari was having his best game against Liverpool and you could tell he was injured today and even though Sess has flair, he is often left isolated however still won us corners which we couldnt as per usual take.

Loads of players are **** at first but in the end come good and they probably need a good pre season under them.

Give the lads a chance, i know its been tough of late but we cant be our own worst enemies by being on the lads backs all the time (like Stoke H).

I think we will see what they can do in this next game and if they are gash, then drop them till next season.

7th still too play for even if it doesnt look it now, we finished strongly last year and we will this year.

KTF because theres too much doom and gloom

Thank you for a positive article! We've had a horrendous run of fixtures and a set of results to match. Before this run we had an unbeaten January with 3 wins and a draw.

We have teams scraping around in the bottom half who will be fighting for their lives bit they'll always give you chances and we have a striker who can finish them. We are a better side at home and although we lost, we gave Chelsea and Spurs a good go.

Let's turn up in droves next week and I'm 100% confident a win would spark our season and the top 10 is still on. People are going on like we've already been relegated....GET A GRIP!! We're only a point or two off 7th/8th, next week it could be fulham at the bottom, the week after it could be the mags, the week after that it could be stoke. No our performance was unacceptable but haway lads let's show we'll stick by the team and not sink to the level of the mags and boycotting the club, blaming the owners, lynching the players etc

    KEEP THE FAITH

Good to see positives on a pretty negative day. Things could be worse. We could be Wigan.

You like Dave Whelan. I like Kelly Brooke.

I guess that's a difference between Sunderland and Newcastle fans.

means hard games we expected to lose, I get that but did expect us to try. Anyone who seriously thinks WBA on Saturday will be an easy game could be in for a shock

still dont get it, how are to compete if we have got 6-7 teams where we are expecting to get beat.
maybe thats where bruce is going wrong and telling the players the same, perhaps if he's a bit more positive and attacking minded we may turn this slump around.
thought we had come further than just wanting to play the wolves and wigans in order to get points
