Talkshite say we'll have to qualify if Chelsea win

Is this true? So confused ATM.

 

If this was indeed the case, then it would have mentioned in more places. Sky,BBC and co would have reported because it's a pretty big issue when it comes to the CL, But so far I have not seen a single source that says we need to qualify if Chelsea win the CL. Also, seeing as you have not linked any articles to the OP, I assume some talkshite presenter said this?

Incorrect. Arsenal are through to the group regardless.

If Chelsea win they're in the group. If Bayern win, Spurs are in the qualifiers.

No UEFA have confirmed that if Chelsea win, then all 4 teams will go straight through to the group stages.

According to UEFA we would get all 4 teams going into the group stages.

A team would be promoted from the Europa instead of Tottenham and they would go into the qualifiers. That would be either Braga or Spartak Moscow.

They'd have to change the qualifying stage as there would have otherwise been an English team needing to qualify so not sure how they'd arrange that. Maybe the earlier rounds would be changed?

 

They'll rejig the qualifying rounds (promoting a few teams to the next qualifying round) to accomodate things if Chelsea are in the group stage next year. We'll get in automatically regardless.

 

At the moment the champions (city) get 40% of the tv money, 2nd get 30% (united), 3rd get 20% (mighty afc), 4th get 10% (spuds).

What happens in chelsea qualify? Do they slot in at the top or the bottom?

BTW I think this changes if spuds dont qwualify. So then we get more tv money. So we want chavs to lose and spuds to lose the qualifier then we get the maximum money as the english cl tv money is shared between 3 sides not 4
