Of course you can. Liverpool and Villa fans thought similar things recently and they've steadily got worse. No reason the same couldn't apply to Arsenal, especially if van Persie does one.
At the same time I read that: i.) His contract with Arsenal FC expires in 2013 ii.) He has not signed a contract extension with Arsenal FC Has he signed a new contract with your club? If not, it is not made up - it is a statement of fact that he will be out of contract this time next year, and if he doesn't sign a new contract he will leave you for nothing. Nope, it's an Arsenal fact. It's also a fact several clubs around Europe are aware of. Has he signed a contract extension with your club since I last asked? If not, it's not desperate - trying to pretend otherwise is. Are they out of contract next summer? No, they're not. Crybaby.
Piskie says we r scraping the barrel but yet they made a thread celebrating finishing above us even though it went down to the last day.
It's only scraping the bottom of the barrel when Spurs do it. We should loan in Yossi Benayoun next season to prove the obvious double standards on that one...
The Gooners should be thankful that they have such good rivals, or their season would have been more desperate than the Mousers' one. It's only their utter desperation to finish above us that spurred them on. And, even then, they needed the help of the WBA keeper to achieve it. Had WBA played any other goalie, we'd have finished a point ahead of Arsenal. The Gooners really do not have a great deal to crow about, no matter what they may say on their own board in order to paper over the cracks. And if RVP should leave them this Summer, I fear I may have to book into the Cock Clinic, because I will laugh mine off.
Lol HIAG. U better do it mate. I think RVP is definitely off. I don't think Wenger will keep him and risk losing him on a free and it don't sound like he's gonna sign a new deal.
When spu*rs have their strongest ever squad they fail to finish above our poorest squad and when they have a poor squad they are mid table to relegation material. When we have a strong squad we win trophys and are title contenders and our poorest squad still finish top 4 and above you. Why's that then?
Loving these comments from spurs fans. If Rvp does leave (which I concede is a possibility) I expect to see many more comments of the same variety. Didn't you guys call us a one man team when nasri was running the show and cesc before that. If Rvp does go we will suceed as a team...if not bring on the next one man team!
Arsenal haven't won a trophy for a while, but most Spurs fans, and indeed football fans in general, think it's better to get a CL spot than win the Carling Cup. So in the last 7 years Arsenal have done considerably better than us. 7 CL spots to our one and a Carling Cup. We may turn it from a 7-2 to 7-3 defeat if we we get lucky re Chelsea and then win our CL qualifier.
Most balanced statement yet. For the record i would rather you guys get cl than chelsea win the thing. It will also add more to the rivarly next year. No fun unless we are competing on the same level
Apologies if the 4 lines in that quote are too complex for you to understand. If you look for the word ''WHEN'', you may find yourself struggling less and understanding the quote more. Always happy to help.
Apart from the Gazza, Lineker era and your league winning squad 51 years ago, name me a stronger sp*rs squad. The carling cup winning squad? JFTR I've heard some of your fellow fans saying this is your strongest squad, especially when you had your winning run earlier in the season.
The squad from 82-4, and the one from '87 that forgot to win the First Division. Oh, and we're called "Spurs" - being unable to type it makes you look like a mental. And there's a place for people like that. Anfield.
