Have we had a better striker since Ferdinand? The red cards were an obvious low, but his goalscoring talent can't be questioned. Given a full season i've no doubt, if he can stay on the pitch and play 90% of the games he'll be our 20 goal striker.
Hes the best finisher Ive seen since Sir Les and he might even be a better finisher than him because its too long ago to remember. He scores nearly every chance he gets. If we are a better team creating more chances, he should really get 15-20+ goals next season.
I love the bloke, I have fully forgiven him for his sendings off! He well and truly paid us back, like he promised, and his passion is something to behold - just like Mackies. He will prove to be a superb signing for us and I am delighed to have him at QPR.
Echo the best since Les. The great thing to witness is he doesn't hesitate, looks to take the shot early and first time which is what makes a quality player! Lesser players for instance would have taken a touch first for his city goal. Great player!
Yep, he's feckin awesome. That image of him as the goal bound ball left his boot was pretty special. And what's more, I think he loves us too.
Quality, quick, strong and a goalscorer. I bet a few of the top clubs might be having a look,as I think he could play for one of the big clubs. Just relieved we stayed up or Im sure he would have been snapped up..
Good thread, great striker. Loved the way you could hear him yelping behind the goal after he scored yesterday. Cisse loves scoring and he does it very well, as soon as that ball left Lescott's head I was up celebrating. I just knew he would finish it.
So its all forgiven to cisse? His sent offs were more stupidly done than bartons. If he scores 15-20 goals next season and dont get sent off then i might forgive him. He was much more reponsible for our bad situation than barton ever was.
Can't wait for him to continue banging in the goals next season. 15 guaranteed. 20 must be the target.
Could be igor, but he seems humble and remorseful and tells us he's going to put his wrongs right on the pitch by doing his job - which he has and hopefully will continue to next term. Contrast with Barton - I've said sorry, if people don't like it, oh well, life's too short. 80 ****ing grand a week!
