I was thinking of heading over to cambridge and doing a bit of punting whilst drawing the bru as well.
irish benefits are generous -> I'm an idiot or WUM they will have to be reduced as you are skint -> ditto I'm confused.
You are jumping up and down like a stereotypical Daily Mail reading little Englander tonight. I've lived and worked with English people for the last seven years and I know that you are either putting it on to get a bit of a reaction or if not, you are an idiot.
So you don't think irish benefits are generous? They are far more generous than UK benefits yet you are apparently skint and we are apparently flush with money enough to bung some your way. I read the Daily Mail among others. Assuming that I'm not trying to get a reaction, what exactly have I got wrong?
Quite simply Rebel, by putting all English people in the same bracket! Anyway, I really can't be ****ed with an arguement, Mick knows it was said with tongue in cheek.
I wasn't on the Clarkson thread, I was meaning that he said on this thread that he had worked with English people for 7 years, so he knew what they were like, which technically is racist. I'm only saying this to show how ****ing ridiculous how racism can become e.g. Glasow people not liking people from the East coast of Scotland, surely, eventually that is racist?
"We need to deny benefits to foreigners, sterilise those who breed irresponsibly BEFORE THEY BREED, deport trouble makers (extremist muslims, irish) and force layabouts into work then there would be plenty to go round for the honest English people who have fallen on hard times." Well you are a tad to the right if I do so say so, advocating policies of selective breeding which Hitler himself would be proud of. You'd deport Muslim and Irish troublemakers and you'd force the work shy into work for the good of the honest English people. I'll assume you are not just trying to goad a reaction and treat your points on the pretense this is a reasonable debate. The United Kingdom loses about ten times as much tax revenue to tax dodging as it does to benefit thieves - I should know I've been working in tax havens for most of my adult working life. Also we do genuinely have a permanent problem in society whereby we are simply not all born equal - Some of us have the ability to drive forward and contribute to society, some of us are predestined to try and take the easiest route possible through life. While the lazy ones may feed off the productive ones it is an issue which will never go away and which the likes of myself accepts as an inevitability. If we wanted to chuck our weakest members of society on the scrap heap then we'd have much bigger social problems with crime and drug abuse, like the United States does right now with it's laissez faire approach. What particularly leads me to believe you are on the wind up is your outward xenophobia - not only against Muslims but also it appears everyone outside of England. For one, Irish benefits are a random thing to throw into the conversation when the people contributing are all living in the United Kingdom, including RebelBhoy who lives in Derry. For the record I'm sure your bung is much appreciated south of the border but the competitive interest, in fact a market arbitraging rate, will surely please the British Treasury. Also stereotyping Scottish people by rhyming off a few fairly typical Scottish television programs, as if that is your entire personal experience of the Scottish nation. As I said you are coming across as Johnny Englander tonight and of all my English friends I don't know anyone who tries so hard to meet such a stereotype as what you are doing now.
But surely making out that they are more clever than what is being implied can not be construed as racist
