20:30 Towcester - Vicator (Well-bred for the job, and comes from a yard who do reasonably well in bumpers).
3PM Race at Redcar Go Racing In Yorkshire Backs Barney Claiming Stakes Nice one Sir Barney good to see you getting supported up here
Quel fancies this one too. Its a full brother to VELATOR who has done so well this year but was a late developer. Honeyball had it for a while but sold it on, maybe he didnt have an owner for it but at only 4 yo it has been through the ring no less than five times!
19.10 Windsor- Skilful Back on turf and altho disappointing lto @ kempton- the race would have put him right for this and is likely to run a big race!
Just popping on - not much money for Vicator yet which I'd expect to see from the yard if they like one of their runners but the money's down now so will have to wait and see. One I do like the look of in the opener and have had a little bet on is Royal Chatelier at 7/1.
You should leave sellers well alone but if Nicholls has FOL HOLLOW tuned up for this one he would surely win it by three or four lengths!
Hello lads. Some decent action for a Monday this evening...time for an indepth perusal once I prepare dinner. Good shouts Stick and Yorkies. GL all venturing forth into the arms of their layers.
PN's favourite boy, HAAFHD, has an interesting looking one in the next at Wolves. LUCY BEE needed the experience first time out but should know what to do today!
I have been tracking the market on FANTACIZE 5.40 Windsor 9-2 all day and the money is starting to come. This horse is half brother to TWO Queen Mary winners both of whom won on their debuts. Mikael Barzalona is an interesting jockey booking and if the horse is as precocious as it's siblings then it is very interesting in this race tonight. Yorkies has one in this so I was in two minds as to whether to put it up.
That is interesting Stick...Meehan's don't often go in first time so any money is indeed significant. Anybody any stats on his newcomers?
True, but they are rarely backed. I think he had one at Ascot at the weekend that drifted from 9's to 16's before never really being put un the race. Interesting to see how this pans out for future reference.
Staying on really well once the penny dropped Dex, missed the break and took time to get the hang of things. Should go in notebook! Rules of betting at Windsor; R1; Hannon's 2yo's R2; Stoute's 3yo maidens Sometimes (often in fact) I am a real fookwit!
One to keep an eye on Stick. Winner was nibbled at and bred for it on the ground. Could be a decent little race for the grade.
