Pretty standard. Could be a meeting on his future, a summary of the season, discuss transfers, finance, a hot tub party. Time will tell.

If he was to loose or change his job, I feel it would have to be this week. Any new manager would need as much time as possible to be scouted, interviewed, appointed and get working.

Agree - it would also give the fans a good couple of months to get over it and move on. (Although I'm impartial. If he stays then of course I'm behind him, if he goes then so be it I would understand where the owners are coming from).

More likely just be some sort of PR work, potentially repairing some damage to the LFC image caused earlier in the year.

KD will probably be meeting sponsors etc - I doubt they would fly him out to America just to sack him as that would be really cruel.

What a play on words. Sounds as if KD was marched onto a plane heading for the US of A.

Would sound different if it were KD flies to US. This would indicate a meeting to talk about transfers dealings to me.

I highly doubt it is to sack him... it seems a bit silly to have them fly 8 hours just to be told "You're fired" for them to fly back for 8 hours. This sort of stuff can easily be done via a conference call. It would be different if JWH & TW were coming over here. I'd imagine that these are probably "What went wrong" meetings, they'll then be followed with "where to go now" meetings where they'll discuss transfer targets, budgets and expectations for next season. I'm surprised Ian Ayre isn't on the flight

Maybe its for the TV show and Henry wants to do a Alan Sugar 'your fired' boardroom meeting.

In all seriousness what owner would not want to meet with his manager to discuss the season and future? Id be more concerned if they didn't talk, add to the fact if your the owner, as long as it doesn't effect the team, you get your employee to travel to you not the other way around.

  10. To me, the fact that he has flwon to the US rather than the owners coming to England suggests that he will stay in charge. It would be pretty bad to ask someone to travel that far so that you can sack them leaving them to travel all the way back again.

That would be quite a scenario. Tom Werner could be Nick Hewer and err... Claire Rourke as Karen Brady (clutching at straws for that one)

Maybe it's me but if I were in JWH's position and I had to sack Kenny, I'd visit him. The only other alternative is if there are meetings going on where Kenny has to fight for his job... but then if FSG can change their mind that easily then you have to wonder if they're as ruthless as it's reported. Another idea would be him being flown to Boston so they can sell him the DoF idea

    I dunno!?

Kenny took Carroll to see a Boyzone concert,so why the surprise that he's took Clarke to the States for a couple of days?

They could be checking out training grounds, hotels and the stadium in Boston ahead of our visit.

    So many possibilities.

Kenny had enough of my chat and is coming to sort me out <yikes>

He mentioned something about "lifting me off the canvas" not sure what that quite means?
