looks like Ruud Van Nistelrooy will announce his retirement today.

 

the players should be proud of themselves for taking the title race to the last game of the season and this will be a valuable experience to the young ones.

Davidako - has anyone ever told you you're really funny ? No. Thought not.

 

matt your faith is infectous, but we blew it firstly against Wigan, had the chance to make ammends against Everton but didn't, we were always going to lose at the Eithad and shouldn't of gone into the last match expecting QPR to get something - I know the nearly did but it was lucky they got that position.




One positive though is had United won the PL yesterday would the Glazers sanction any major signings in the summer? NO! ....now they have no choice - no excuses, we have to invest in quality or be runners up again, and the glazers would watch their investment go south!

 

To be fair, I thought City would walk the league following the 1-6 at OT! Fergie did well to get them 8 points clear with 6 games to go but unfortunley for Utd I think Mancini did a great job and has to be applauded for dragging them back from the abyss.

He realised his players where feeling the pressure and managed the situation fantastically. Fair Dues.

 

looks like Alex MCcleish is getting the sack at Aston Villa today.

 

the game we lost the title to was against Blackburn, we should've won that.

 

Matt that was mid season, you may as well say the 1 - 6 city match lost us the title, compounded by the goal difference it attained.

The match that lost us the title was Everton in the run-in, 4 home goals and we drew FFS - A 2 goal aggregate with less than 10 mins to go in a match that should of been put to bed.

Any thing after that match was purely academic.

 

i know and that's where Vidic would come in, he would've told the defence to tighten up.
