Taken from yesterdays matchday programme, this is the club's considered top 20 moments in the PL.

    20 - Erik Edman v Liverpool 2005 Stunning strike from 40 yards in a 2-2 draw.

19 - Gus Poyet v Arsenal 2001 Last minute equaliser at WHL.

18 - Spurs v Southampton at WHL 1993 - a goal down at half time we scored 4 goals in 5 minutes to win 4-2.

    17 - Robbie Keane v Everton 2003. A hat-trick from Keane in a 4-3 thriller at the Lane.

16 - Klinsmann v Everton 1994 - repeated his dive celebration at the Lane 4 days after doing the same on his debut at Hillsborough.

    15 - Spurs v Reading 2007 - a ten goal thriller with Berbatov scoring 4 in a 6-4 win.

14 - Klinsmann v Wimbledon 1998 - 4 goals from Jurgen in a win which secured our PL status.

    13 - Keane v Chelsea 2008 - Keane's late curler, gains a 4-4 draw in a thriller at WHL.

12 - Spurs v Man Utd 1996 - New Years Day and we tore United to shreds in a 4-1 victory.

11 - Bale v Stoke 2010 - A goal of pure quality volleying home a cross from Lennon in our 2-1 win.

10 - Kaboul v Aston Villa 2007 - Kaboul's last gasp equaliser after we had been trailing 4-1 in our 125 years birthday match.

9 - Stephen Carr v Man Utd 1999 - Another victory over United secured by Carr's 35 yard thunderbolt.

8 - Klinsmann's debut - at Shefield Wednesday 1994. Marking his debut goal with a celebratory dive.

7 - Spurs v Chelsea 2006 - Plenty of fireworks on Bonfire night with our first win over Chelsea in years with goals from Dawson and Lennon.

6 - Defoe v Wigan 2009 - An incredible 2nd half of football as we scored 8 times with Defoe getting 5 in a 9-1 win.

    5 - Arsenal v Spurs 2008 - A breathtaking 4-4 draw with Bentley's 40 yard lob and Lennon's injury time equaliser taking centre stage.

4 - Stalteri v West Ham 2007 - A sensational derby match with a last minute winner from our Canadian defender.

3 - Arsenal v Spurs 2010 - 2-nil down and then 3-2 up. Goals from VDV, Bale and Kaboul.

2 - Danny Rose v Arsenal 2010 - A debut to remember and an unforgettable goal.

1 - Peter Crouch v Man City 2010 - CL football secured for the first time thanks to Crouchy's winner with never to be forgotten celebrations on and off the pitch at the final whistle.

Any comments on that list and is there any moment you think should have been included ???

I wouldn't include 15. that game was truly embarrassing, there's entertaining chaos with loads of goals but sometimes it's just such apalling defending on both sides that I found it hard to enjoy. I'd include Robbo lobbing the Watford 'keeper, because even though it was a fluke you don't see goals like that often and he was lobbing one of his rivals for the number 1 England jersey.

Yes, I would have included Robbo's goal as well although to replace which moment, I am not quite sure. I take your point on the Reading game, there was a goal feast at the Lane that week because I think we stuffed Fulham by 5-something either a few days before or a few days afterwards. I am not convinced I would have included number 16, as I don't actually remember that game.

You not remember the ball bouncing round the area and then falling to Klinsmann who scored a sublime scissor type kick.

    13. could have been even better, I think I recall Berbatov missing a very presentable chance to make it 5-4. That would have got it higher!

It's funny and I am not to sure why but Eidur Gudjohnsen's goal against Stoke always stays with me. I think it was to do with the fact that he fought off the usual 'strong' tackles from the Stoke bully boys and slammed it into the net.

We had won where we had often crumbled against the hard men. Spurs had shown 'strength at last.

It was Cudicini in goal and it was actually a very good save, annoyingly.

Why can't I get over the Defoe miss that would have made it a 3 goal comeback and a 2-3 lead against City...that thin line again.

So many great moments...that 9-1 was just schoolboy stuff, crazy Roy of the Rovers stuff...I w smokin a herbal cig so had to borrow my mates fingers to count the goals.

I even started a thread on the old606 stating that we will 5-1, how wrong of me!

  17. Just thinking the same thing...... A very special moment.

And I had quite forgotten how awesome Gallas was that day.

Glad to see Crouch at No.1, considering the ridiculous amount of unfair abuse he got from many Spurs 'supporters'. I use that term in a very loose sense indeed.
