Hughes won't be able to play him next year. So who will buy him?

  4. After his disgraceful display on the opening day of the season, it's wonderful that its ended for him just like this - showing the whole world what a complete **** he is... what a way to top and tail the season as the most ridiculous prat in the game <ok>

  9. More from the twat - he just digs a bigger hole for himself - admitting to trying to get another player sent off. A Cheat as well as a thug.

"Can do nothing but apologise to the players and the fans. Still don't think its a sending off. Tried to take 1 of their players with me....

"Still not my proudest moment but who gives a f*ck, we are safe..........and that is all that matters.

"The head was never gone at any stage, once I'd been sent off, one of our players suggested I should try to take 1 of theirs with me...

"...Never worked but god loves a trier. #reallynotbother #wearesafe

"Think a few people are forgetting Tevez started the fracas by throwing a punch to the head...?"

Sorry guys can't help but disagree, Pardew himself said that Barton was a changed man, so he must be.
Lets look at the incident, Tevez should have been sent off for blatantly throating Bartons elbow, Suarez should also have gone for savagely backing on to Bartons knee, and the worst of all Kompany can be seen to be breathing in with such ferocity that he sucked Bartons head towards him. The melee of people who surrounded Barton were just trying to listen to his latest philosophical musings.
Hughes himself will confirm my thoughts when as expected he will tell us all that, Joey was in tears as he left the pitch and that he's just not that sort of lad!

  11. To top it all off Barton is a little bitch who gets floored by little taps on the face - total wimp.

4 for the Red, an additional 5 for the kick-out afterwards, 6 for the headbutt makes 15 games by my reckoning. Add in the obligatory 20% "Because he's Joey Barton" Tax that should be applied to EVERYTHING in his life, and that makes 18 games - a tad shy of half the season.

QPR won't sack him, he's their captain and on good money. He's an embarrassment to their Club, and should never play football again.

Also, having a go at Shearer for such things as not having hair and not having much of a personality?! What's up with that?? Talk about a lack of class. I'd rather be Shearer - respected for his ability as a footballer all over the UK - than Joey Barton - derided as a thug and the man people hope fails spectacularly in life.

Am I the only one who didn't see a huge amount in the initial incident? Joesph Barton being a massive twat aside all I saw was a few handbags between two douchebags and a weak elbow around chest height (not nose as Tevez seemed to imply). Send him off yes, and punish the idiocy that followed but I've read things like the elbow alone deserved a six month ban! I saw far more in the Carroll incident and he got a yellow.

it was a red for throwing the elbow, that should have been the end of it. it's the rest that's blown it up, and the importance of the game - it could have cost QPR their Prem status. plus the fact he's joey barton.

with his mental state - I wonder how he ever made it in football. You would have thought a nutter like that would not have gone through the ranks.

The ref sent him off anyway so it's up to the FA to inflict whatever punishment they feel necessary!

Wow. Being a complete loser obviously runs in the family.

As far as the incident goes, I've rewatched it and there's definitely been worse throughout the years. Big Duncan Ferguson used to be far more violent than Joey, plus Dunc had the height and power behind him unlike scrawny Barton.

However, where Barton doesn't help himself is with his post-match quotes, i.e. 'a team mate told me to take one of them (Aguero) with me'. So that's essentially a form of cheating, he was goading City players to try and get one sent off. If he did that yesterday, who's to say that what he did against us wasn't cheating too? Gervinho barely touched him and he goes down like a sack of spuds, HUGE hypocrite.

I would've loved to have seen Company spark the little prick - you know if that wasn't on the pitch Barton would've got weighed in !!!

i would like to see a life ban, although i doubt the FA have the balls for that. also, since he already had been given a red card, he was no longer officially a player playing football. Therefore his attack on aguero could be deemed assault and he could get a prison sentence. is that possible?
