19,000+ attendance, yet approximately 300 away fans manage to out sing the entire stadium? WTF!

As someone who doesn't live in hull and who has, until recently, always worked weekends. I was very happy to finally manage to get tickets to a home match. Looking back I'd wished I'd gone to work!

The entire stadium (bar a couple in the east stand) sat silently the entire match, crowd didnt look bothered, the players didn't look bothered. Surely the home of the tigers should be a place teams should not want to visit. With a loud and proud powerful following that command the stadiums atmosphere!

people are quick enough to big up how tough hull is, yet seems to me were like the boring old guy at the family party that sits in the corner and refuses to dance.

Its FACT that a crowd can boost a team an make them dig deep, make them care by showing them its bloody important!

    Rant over! ;)

its a case of which came 1st, the chicken or the egg..
some will agree with you, another point of view is, if it didnt take until the 92nd minute to have a decent shot on goal, maybe people would have been more interested...

I thought after the club's drive for flags and banning of silence at the KC, the place was rocking?

this isn't the fault of the fans, we have always been fairly ok at the KC, I have never seen that atmosphere at the stadium this bad but you have to say when we carve out one decent chance in 90 minutes what do you expect? on the other side of the coin when we were under the cosh we were encouraging them to clear the ball and battle for every tackle, we have found ourself in a very boring middle ground and it's ****e to watch it really is.

Every team has games like this.

I agree with an above comment that the players should start it off.

We have plenty at Leicester, we're either really loud or really quiet.

Its no surprise when we win because you can tell with the fans reaction.

We have had a season like this at home, if it wasn't for our stunning away form we would be right down there.

I disagree. The performance yesterday was abysmal, if the game is crap the fans have nothing to excite them. That is the reality of the situation.

I agree that the players performance was dire, there was a serious lack of drive and movement from them. I also agree that fans generally need something to excite them and get them going.

but turning up to a match and sitting quietly waiting for your team to get you motivated isn't, in my opinion what football is about. Supporters are there to support, from the first whistle to the last.

I saw tons of fans excited outside the stadium, ready for a good game, and I read everyones pre match posts building up to the kick off. The fans should be raring to go before a ball is kicked. I didnt turn up, plonk my self on my seat and say " come on then lads, give me summat to shout about, coz I aint doing f*** all til you show me its worth it".

who knows, if the fans had been giving it large b4 kick off, the players might of actually have acted like the gave a damn.

Match day afterall, is what been a fan is all about, for old, young and the inbetween!

The fans job is to stick by there team no matter what, back up there team no matter what, show passion for their team no matter what. The team should not do it for us, we are the fans we are the ones who love our club we should be backing every single one of them. Why should the players get us going we should get them going.

Instead of moaning every time a mispass, a miss tackle goes wrong no matter how frustrating just get behind the lads!

I am sick and tired of listening to moaners, why not be positive the situation could be far worse! The worst comes to worst we lost 7 games we finish mid table, is it really that bad?

I agree they should show some passion and fight, but we should get behind the players no matter how well they play surely?

The point is the fans should be loud and proud before a ball is even kicked, creating the atmosphere. Excited to watch there team to play the sport they love. They get paid win, lose or draw.

If you want someone to entertain you go see a band, or a comedian. Sport is different, as its men against men, both trying to beat the other.

Any guy will admit, your always stronger and more confident when you've got the support of your friends!!! You always feel more comfortable knowing there's people there to support you no matter wat the outcome.

And from the dire first touch our players had yesterday, they looked like they needed some confidence.

Silence and staring eyes is just as intimidating as jeering.

like to see how well you perform with 19,000 silently staring at you! IF those 19,000 thousand were cheering you on regardless, you'd give it a go.

Pay check or no pay check

The players and management make it so boring that by the 30 minute mark everybody has just given up and started talking amongst themselves.

Aye i can sense your frustration slightly, and i know your opinion on NP, however i really rate NP and speaking to him he can actually be a bit of a laugh so obviously i am going to defend him. I think the key with our attacking sense gone is the fact that stuart and Rosenior where not in the side, two of our best players if not best, they bring balance if you had Cameron Stewart and Rosenior and Devitt in the same team i think we would be seeing far more attacking influence.

The one person i feel for is Fryatt, boy if he had good service how many would he bag.

Like ive said many times before, there isnt enough young tigers supporters. Younger fans make a lot more noise, fact! Its way to expensive in this current climate when Hull fc are selling tickets for 5 pounds.
