Im just lost for words, i really am !! i never thought in a million years that cardiff fans would whore themselves out like they have. They deserve nothing but pain for the embarresment they have caused the Welsh nation !!
It's good to see all the Cardiff fans behind there billionaire investor ... half putting a knife in his back , the other half with there nose up his arse . All joking aside , both sets of fans are right in a way , it's the foreign owners that are totally in the wrong by pitting the two sides against each other . I take no joy in any team being advantaged by foreign owners , and these seem the worse of the worse by waving money around and withdrawing it hours later to start the whole fiasco off
"maybe an appreciation petition backing the malaysians and their general well being for the club and how we value them would be the best rather than the red or dead one because obviously there are fans like me out there that want the investment but not the club overhaul(if possible)." .. Bending over every chance they get, have these people no shame !!
Interesting article....."Tan has a Malay-Chinese background and in his native Hokkien dialect âbluebirdâ translates as a slang term for the male reproductive organ. Nissan encountered a similar problem when they launched a car called the Nissan Bluebird and discovered not many customers in South-East Asia were keen to drive around in a vehicle essentially called the Nissan Penis. Due to Welsh protests, Tan has now called off his plans, putting the South-East Asian markets out of his reach â until he gets Cardiffâs shirts sponsored by Viagra." http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/ar...United-good-gets-Des-Kelly.html#ixzz1umJPGr6u Its essentially what we always knew about Bluebirds lol
Nissan Penis so it's okay to call them The Penis's from now on as it's accurate name for them in their new fatherland pmsl no wonder they want to change their name, it's not as if Malaysians will walk around with penis on their tops, though I can see Cardiff fans doing it
The opening line of their petition cut and pasted: "We need to show our support too our owners who have saved us from dispare time and time again." Looks like John Hughs wrote it.
That will really impress the Billionaire owners ... comedy gold! it looks like its going to be a comedy summer over on the eastern block !!
sorry to go against the grain .. I love the banter, but cannot rejoice in a fellow Welsh' team tribulations
Now we know where we are going and always remember where we are from, perhaps it's time for a change of strip.... after all next year we WILL have a white strip and a RED strip....perhaps we should rethink matters... White: corresponding with metal, represents gold and symbolizes brightness, purity, and fulfillment. Red: corresponding with fire, symbolizes good fortune and joy. or maybe not!!!!!!! STID
"saved us from dispare..." I don't usually pass comments about grammar/spelling,etc.,but this hughs is still a complete dolt. Clearly, the lecturers in Swansea Uni need changing,as they are not fit for purpose,or should that be porpoise? Honestly,I do "dispare" about our johnny.
So now a certain somebody wants to put it to the vote to take it up the arse pmsl , wonder never cease they want a democratic vote to be shafted
This stuff just writes itself!! read this post from yesterday !! "It's easy to lose 1 Million a month. Everyone looks at the reduction in players wages and thinks its OK. All directors get paid, their are interest payments on loans (Not langstone just ordinary ones) a mortgage to be paid, office staff ground staff The manager and all his (Very excellent ) team, rent for the Vale training grounds, day to day upkeep of the Facilities at the club, electricity water gas lighting to make the pitch grow. there are a thousand and one things that drain money from any business however well it is being run. The point of VT's proposals was that the money he invests will save money in the long term: - no debt = no interest payment. Training facility owned by the club = no rent for the vale or anywhere else for years, Paying off langstone = the chance to sell the naming rights of the club when/if we are promoted, Increasing the capacity of the ground = one payment and a potential extra 9,000 bums on seats for as long as the team perform, Change the home strip to red = potentially sell another 50,000 shirts in Malaysia where red is considered an extremely lucky colour, Put a dragon on the shirt = relate to both the asian dragon element and the Wales element = potentially sell another 20,000 shirts, Once the red strip is accepted change the shirt slightly every season as teams do now = all those shirts sold again and again. The contentious thing for me was the bluebird, and they had already compromised on that, I think by agreeing to wear both badges. If we wear blue away from home we will be carrying the traditional bluebirds into the home of the enemy, and every time we play a team that wears red at home we will still beable to play in our blue strip and let them stay red. It's a no-brainer for me. People in asia wearing the red shirt will not stop the traditionalists here from continuing to wear blue but it will sell an awful lot more shirts. I want a live team wearing any colour not a dead team getting buried in blue. " .... OMG !! this guy thinks they will sell ANOTHER 50,000 shirts in mayalsia, then ANOTHER 20,000 on top of that !! 70,000 shirts !! i would be suprised if they have sold 27 !! as someone said on planet swans, its the gift that just keeps on giving...
Just to clarify, this is how difficult it is to buy a football shirt other than Liverpool,Man utd,Barca and Arsenal in Maylasia !! "You’d be surprised that most big stores in Malaysia don’t even carry the jerseys of Queens Park Rangers. And even though Tan Sri Vincent Tan, the founder of Berjaya Group, is now the owner of Cardiff City FC, the kit is not easily available in Malaysia,” said Wong" http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?sec=north&file=/2012/5/4/North/11228329 Just to add icing on the cake !
