Beneath two promoted clubs in Norwich and Swansea,,,, And in 13th place,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Mags in 5th (well done)
13th just leaves you with a bit of a flat feeling but one plus point is that it shows MON how big the job is. Is it just me or does Wickham look out of his depth? and i'm not just going on todays game.
We need to happy mon kept us up TBH. we were in big trouble when SB was in charge. I will judge MON at the end of next season after he has had the chance to make the team his own.
Huge disappointment were sitting 8-9 th with 6 games to go facing 4 to 5 very winnable games , ended up winning none. Every faith that MON will bring in the right players to put in a a good fight for 6-8 th net season but dosn't alter the fact that we have had a very poor run in.
We need to be solid at the back. Thought Bramble did well today, but he could be living elsewhere next season. I thought Turner today was totally out of his depth. Mig continues to improve. I look forward to Mon's wheeling and dealing..
11 points after 14 games is the reason. If Bruce had beensacked after the west brom i think wed have been 5/6 points better off and would have finished top 10
Wickham needs to improve drastically during pre-season or go on loan to a top Championship club next season We HAVE to keep hold of Sess and McLean, not sell even if a big offer comes in. We need a goalscorer, some solid defenders and more level-headed midfielders (what we've needed for about 10 years now!) Hopefully this can be THE ONE!!!
A season to forget for all of us. Bruce has got to take his fair share of the blame though for the first 1/3 of the season. We need big changes throughout the squad. I think its fair to say I was pi$$ed off to see Bramble playing today. Where was Killgallon? We need to offload deadwood like him!mApparantly Reading want Ricco, which wold be a good start!
How is Bramble deadwood and Killgallon not? Bramble is an established experienced premier league centre half, Killgallon has had one or two decent games in the top flight
I think the simple fact is this season our team was not as good as last season. We had Wellbeck, Gyan and Bent who were not replaced with the same quality. It's going to be interesting to see who MON brings in and who he lets go.
And without MoN, i reckon we could have finished under Wolves, Blackburn or Bolton. Great season for the unwashed, they deserve the plaudits but this season is done now. Timne to look forward to the 2012/13 season, when everyone starts on a level playing field again and we dont have the handicap of Steve Bruce to contend with up to Christmas. The challenge to regain top NE status begins now. Bring it on.
AN honest question mate (booze does have that effect) They finished 5th, we were 13th, that's a helluve gap. If they keep most of their team, do you believe we can finsh above them?
