But Utd have been in the prem all them years and had the cream of the crop, and yet constantly broke the record fee's throughout them years... Where-as their rivals have been playing catch up ,and have not had the benefit of creaming other clubs talent throughour them years.
So.. Arsenal done it without spending a fortune (yes they spent but not 500 million) Spurs could have done it this season, and probably should but its a marathon and not a sprint, its over 38 games, and Man U are just better than everyone else at it apart from a season here and there. You have to give them credit for doing it season after season, without breaking the bank, even though they could quite easily. Hopefully Man City is just a young whipper snapper, biting at their ankles, then when the FFP comes in properly, they get shown up as cheating bastards (the deal with his family for 400 million or whatever it is) and get thrown out of europe.
Can not take your comment seriously , Eventhough we have had a poor end to the season Still showed enough to show everyone that with MON we are on the right track and have enough reasons to be very optimistic next season
Man City deserved to lose the title as they only had to show enough bottle and win against a team they should beat at home Manu as always did what was needed !
Are you serious? They did win against a team they should beat, showed plenty of going right until the end, just as they did against us. The league is played over 38 games and the best team will always come out on top.
Man United have bought the title for years, Blackburn bought the title and Chelsea bought the title. Man City have just taken it to a new level. Irest my case
How much debt are Man City in if the owner walks and wants it back? just like the owner of Portsmouth done but that was pittance in comparison. And Man U can afford to pay it back, Man City cant if it ever happens. I know everyone Buys the title, we bought not going down with Keane, but thats the problem, its all about the cash, whoever has the most can win the title (usually), Man U are the only ones since leeds and Arsenal in between really to have done it with youngsters and not spending a lot (in comparison to others). I just cant stand the way our game is going, and the FFP will only benefit those that are already rich as ****,the rest will just get poorer and poorer. 5 years time. the game will be a shadow of what it is now, unless sky give each club 100 million a season, but even then, the best will always be the best, its been going like the dutch league for years, but it will be even worse soon imho, and thats all it is, my opinion. meh its not a case of a leeds coming up and winning the thing, its a just taking part, and i think it sucks, whats the point. PS: I was just getting at the Justice is done title, I just couldnt see how justice has been done, with them spending all that cash. Were they the better team over the season = YES by a country mile, but if we had went out andsepnt £500,000,000 in 5 years and were paying £300,000 a week on players wages, then I would like to believe we would be League champions and the best team in the country as well.
But that is the thing....they are now CHAMPIONS,,,yeah.....so no owner will walk away at cut a loss.... There is always someone with big money....just like before this Shiek Monsour of whatever he is called, they had Thaksin, a multi multi billionaire......the next one is always waiting................why i don't know.
But now with the FFP, they cant spend it, unless the club makes it back in 3 years. (so having a billionaire owner is pointless for the 1st team) Man U could probably spend £300,000,000 and make it back in 3 years, even with their debt. Man City £50,000,000 maybe a bit more if they get far in the CL, but then their wages will be astronomical so it may be even less. Us £20,000,000 tops and probably a - amount lol Man City got in just in time before the FFP kicked in, doesnt mean I have to like it or say well done, I am jealous as **** and we should have done the same, spent it the last 4-5 years, then worries about it but we wouldnt have worry about it, as we alredy spent it before the FFP came in, now its too late, we cant spend what we dont earn, and we dont earn sod all. meh we definately missed a trick.
Meh...........you lost me on all this mate FFP malarky mate, i v'e never bothered to look into it that much..(just a lazy twat i guess) so i leave it up to the likes of yourself to teach us pupil or lazy students.... Anyhow how was the snooker? Micheala Tabb is hot as ****...
Yeah it was great, My dad (60) was taking a photo of her between frames, bending over the table respotting the pink, and got told to put his camera away, it didnt need a flash either, boring buggers. and basically. the ffp goes back 3 years of accounts, but you need to break even after those 3 years. 2009-10-11 we could have spend £500,00,000 won the league, CL etc and be fine. as it only goes back 3 years. now 2012-13-14 it goes back 3 years, if we spend £50,000,000 this year say, we have to make that back in 3 years time (without spending anything the next2 years, if we do we have to be in the + regardless) without our owner putting any money in, as he isnt allowed to. so lets say we make 10,000,000 profit, we could spend 5,000,000 a year to be safe, Man United make £80,000,000+ a year profit (yes even with their debt) so they can afford to spend £70,000,000 a year without problems. Hence the richer getting better and the poorer staying ****e, Unless we can sell sess for £35,000,000 just like those up the road did with carroll, lucky bastards. (dont think for a second we will btw).
So mate, the way to go, looking at that, is to build the club up as a brand and get it more recognised throughout the world, which will bring in more money through merchandise boosting up our income? Am I on the right track here because that is the first time I have had it explained to me!
Oh ****, i need to br sober to understand that, so will re-read after a kip..... Back to the snooker ref.............
