First off congrats on 3rd, I was hoping you or Newcastle would get it, so long as Spurs didn't it was fine by me because there is still a chance we could make CL, although beating Bayern will be tough.

Do you agree with Jack though? Most of my Gooner mates don't.

When Arsenal got to the final in 2006 I really hoped you'd lose as I wanted us to become the first London club to win it. Plus the rivalry between the clubs is strong anyway. Let's face it when West Ham, Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs play each other the games are massive.

So agree or disagree with Jack?

  3. On balance I want Bayern to beat you for the reasons you have highlighted, but I can really enjoy the CL final now because I know loads of Spuds will be having palputations! If you do win it then you deserve it, and we will have a whole season laughing at Spurs. I think that is where JW is coming from. He's a master at winding up Spurs players and fans, and he has had the last laugh today - he's just enjoying it.

Nah. Bayern winning the CL and Spurs going down in the qualification round would be preferable.

To be fair I personally wanted Arsenal to win against Barcelona in 2006.

nope, no win win, because chelsea will be first london team with the CL, and spurs still have to qualify for the tournament, so they could still potentially be knocked out without Chelsea having to take them out by winning the bloody trophy, sheesh.
